I can proudly say though, that I never saw Titanic in the theaters.

me too....didn't want to sit through 3 hours and waited for the "video" which was a 2 tape set and watched it in parts.

It has a hellva shot at it. It should be at $400 million by the end of it's 3rd week, which is crazy

should get to $400 by this time next week.

158 mil 1st week
132 mil 2nd week

needs only $86 mil. Biggest competition for next week is Mummy.

You can thank all the emotional girls that saw it 6 or more times for that (which is also why I don't think this will pass up titanic, unfortunately)

TTP, I've seen the movie well over 15 times and I still cry. Oddly enough, my second favorite movie is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, which is the total opposite of Titanic.

Well at the rate this movie is going and considering Batman Begins was in theaters for 20 weeks. Could we see The Dark Knight come close to the number Titanic put down. If the movie breaks $500 mil do any of you think that people might start loading up to go see it to try and push it past Titanic?

The Dark Knight already ranks as the 23rd Highest Grossing Movie of All-Time, in just 10 days

Since it's record setting opening weekend, it has made $155,833,728 in the last 7 days. That total would rank as the 10th largest 7 day opening in movie history

Disgusting.

This thing is like a runaway train...
