I can’t imagine Michael Dwight Jim or Pam coming back. So, no thanks

TV Line reported that Steve Carell, who played Dunder Mifflin Scranton, Pa., office's regional manager Michael Scott for seven of nine seasons, will not appear.

It went for a little too long the first time; no reason to bring it back.

Please leave it alone.
Please...

NBC revived Will & Grace and now this. These networks keep canceling new shows and don’t have anything to put on tv.

Why don't they just start the series over. Just replay them all start to finish, it will still probably draw more viewers than anything else they'd put in a primetime slot.

The only way this would be good is if creed is the regional manager

The show went downhill without Michael. Probably No point in bringing it back without him but maybe they’ll have someone good to fill the hole (TWSS)

This certain blimp wreck aside, I just saw a Comedy Central promo for an Office marathon, so looks like another venue to randomly catch episodes.

Given the state of network comedies worth a shot I guess
I don’t think it ruins anything about the original run anyway. If it sucks just ignore it, I did it for Scrubs

Hopefully it bumps off That 70s show reruns.

Or random episode generator on Netflix.

Carrell has said on record that a new season wouldn’t meet anyone’s expectations

I’m as big of fan of The Office as anyone, but I don’t want this, not without Michael Scott. When I’ve rewatched the series, I’ve always found it hard to watch the episodes/seasons after he was gone. So I can’t imagine bringing back the show if just a couple of seasons without him was tough.

When that fails they'll do a Hill Street Blues re-boot with the Office cast.

They should just try and get the cast back for an hour long Christmas episode each year and leave it at that.

I don’t want it, but honestly I’d actually watch this. It wouldn’t be the same but would bring some nostalgia and I still can watch the original run whenever I want.
The show ended just about perfectly. So they should leave it be. But I would check it out.
