I remember seeing in the preview Jim tearing up telling him he was a great boss. I'm sure the cast and crew had a hard time getting through that filming.

Also the episode when Toby comes back. Michael comes in jovial and someone tells him Toby is back thinking it is a joke he brushes it off, but then sees Toby and just begins shouting NOOOOO

Dwight Shrute: Come on, the whole two bullet thing is a red herring. Here's how you do it, you line them all up, you take one bullet shoot them all through the throat at the same time. [stands up] Watch this, Phyllis, you're Hitler, come up here. Toby, you're Toby. Andy, you're Bin Laden. Line up. Throats together.
Toby: I don't wanna do this.
Michael Scott: Toby just do it! God!
Dwight Shrute: [holding his fingers like a gun to Phyllis' throat] Ready? One bullet, and, boom! [shows bullet travelling through Toby and Andy's necks]

Michael's public hatred of Toby is one of my favorite parts of the show. (Him yelling NOOOOOOOOOOOO in Toby's face when he came back was had me ) I don't think there was one thing that caused the feud just the fact that as an HR rep he continually tells Michael NO!
Only reason Michael was nice to Holly eventually (He hated her too at first)was bc she has boobs and thought he was funny (ie if Toby's replacement was a dude or an unattractive chick like Meredith or Phyllis then Mike would have hated him/her too)

This girl I've been talking to and hanging out with has a friend that is the "Toby" of our group. We were drunkenly playing some drinking game and "Toby" was just sucking. So I lean over to the girl I've been talking to and say how if the other girl, Hitler, and Bin Laden were in a room and I had a gun with two bullets, I'd shoot her twice.

I agree. I also love the fact that Toby just takes it and gives a sad face to the camera. Toby NEVER does anything mean to Michael (basically he is just doing his job) yet Michael is just merciless in his attacks of Toby!
Also, Toby's facial expressions just make me laugh. He might have the "saddest face" in all of TV history. You can't help but feel sorry for the guy (Well that is except for Michael
