Cameraman stopped at the security check, and that's where Michael gave him his mike. That's why it was zoomed in as Michael walked away. And Pam made it PAST security to say her goodbye to Michael, that's why she had her shoes in her hand. I just didn't think you could go past that checkpoint without a ticket and boarding pass (at least in any airport I've been in since 9/11).
Also, if you nitpick the scene, we should have been able to hear what Pam and Michael were saying cause Pam should have had her mic on still.

I think he may be

Was awesome...Gabe's probably gone, but I think his character is pretty underrated.

I've gotta say that Will Ferrel's character is not at all funny or likeable. I hope they don't keep him on. There's nothing redeemable about him. He's just weird and only in an uncomfortable very un-funny way. If he stays on the show will crash and burn imo.

IMO hes had a couple funny moments, but overall I would have to agree... not a Deangelo Vickers fan

She likely had to take it off to get through security. That doesn't seem like something they would just let people on planes with.
Also, I think it'd be cool if they did an episode in the future for Michael and Holly's wedding, but it will be hard to top Jim and Pam's. That was a top 10 episode; maybe even top 5.

Cocomo summed up my thoughts perfectly.
The build up from last week & the previews made me believe I'd cry like an 8 year old girl with a skinned knee. The letter of recommendation for Dwight and the Jim scene made my eyes break a little sweat, but nothing uncontrollable. The Pam scene was sweet, but didn't really have an emotional impact on me, even though I thought it was very sweet. I really hate to see Michael go, but am glad he finally found what he was looking for.

I wonder if Michael will regret his decision.

I don't think so. He's leaving to start his new family. That's the only thing that he wanted that could rival his longing for love and adoration from his coworkers.

I missed his TWSS line. What was said right before it to bring on the TWSS?

I'm glad to get this off my chest (or something along those lines) before pulling off his mic.

I actually agree cokes, I was expecting to tear up a lot more and actually I kinda wanted to in a way.
I was actually kinda hoping we'd get to see Jim tell Pam that Michael already left for the airport and see her like break down like a baby because she didnt get to say bye

Same here, but I figured they wouldn't leave something unresolved like that.

That's too dark for the office.

I cried like a baby during the Jim-Michael talk. Also at the end with Pam.

What was up with Pam going to see the King's Speech?
Does she just try to hide the fact that she doesn't have much to do as an office administrator in an office with about 10 people? Or are her and Jim having issues or something?

I told myself it was going to be a sad episode, especially after seeing the preview with Jim/Michael getting emotional in his office.
The Dwight letter scene was a good one. His long pause in reading it was almost tear-worthy. Jim/Michael in his office was the best scene by far. It made me realize that I like Jim, and Michael crying got to me.
