The fact that theaters are already being sold out for this film gives me zero faith in the younger generations of movie audiences.

The shills are already lying and moving the standard for success which is what they always do and since their arguments are never based on fact it doesn’t serve any purpose to legitimize them with acknowledgement. One poster said it’s tracking at $160mil so to gauge the enthusiasm for this movie that would rank it 3rd among Nolan’s movies for their opening weekends based on inflation. Far behind the two Batman sequels and a good bit ahead of Oppenheimer. Nolan’s movies usually make their money based on legs and word of mouth so that will be the thing to watch. It’s going to be a big movie, how big depends on how good it is.
