I love that he originally put a number out there that he thought was stretching it for a break even point. Then he is like o crap it's going to blow that number away I need to almost double it. Gives a ridiculous 1.36 billion break even number with completely out of whack math and doesn't even remove his original tweet

Political grifting is the worst element of American society today.

If there’s literally any cool thing that some people are enjoying, there’s a group of people online from one side of the political aisle or the other who have totally dedicated the next several weeks of their lives to painting a version of reality where that thing sucks and “everybody hates it.”

Why people don’t treat life like a grocery store and just ignore the stuff they don’t like is beyond me. There’s nothing wrong with not liking onions, but if you saw someone in the grocery store standing by the onions yelling at people who bought them, you would have that person committed to a mental institution.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has spoken to filmmaker Christopher Nolan to congratulate him on “The Odyssey” and thank him for boosting international interest in Greek culture, officials said Tuesday.

Mitsotakis’ office said in a statement that the prime minister also voiced satisfaction in Monday’s conference call that much of the shooting took place in Greece.

Nolan’s blockbuster, based on the ancient Greek epic attributed to Homer, brought in more than $260 million worldwide during its opening weekend. Overall, it has made an estimated $639.6 million globally so far, with $128.3 million from international theaters.

Greek audiences, notably prickly on how the country’s cultural heritage is interpreted abroad, have generally received the film well and Mitsotakis’ office said he congratulated Nolan on his take on the nearly 3,000-year-old work.

“[Mitsotakis] thanked [Nolan] for the film’s contribution to strengthening international interest in ancient Greek civilisation, adding that such productions bridge Greece’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary creative art,” the statement added.

It’s trending in the wrong direction but I still think it’ll do ok. Some were predicting 1.5 billion, I thought $900+ but the tracking suggests $750-$850 which would be a success just not what they were hoping for.

I said $850 million was the floor and $1.1+ billion was the ceiling

Yes over 1.1 billion. You left out a lot of context because you’re a liar but I posted it a few times. You can go back to lying now

You said 900. Then you said 1.1 billion. Then you insinuated it wasn't tracking well.

You putting a "+" there is so that literally any number over it is correct

You also scoffed at people saying 1.5...a number higher than 1.1 that this disingenuousness would still make you "right" on

Total nonsense from you as one would expect
