Judging my views on positive reviews the posters who root for movies to fail really don't rant anyone liking this one either.

More reviews came out this morning. A lot of praise and they confirm that the dumb casting choices are only in about 5 minutes of the total movie (which makes the choices even more mind boggling). Harloff used the word masterpiece. A lot of reviews are saying this is basically a horror film, which intrigues me very much

David Ehrlich The Odyssey: a surprisingly natural (and less despairing) Oppenheimer follow-up about a man haunted by defying the gods & dooming civilization - this one fights to avenge his own hubris. IMAX obviously immense. too clunky to be S-tier Nolan, but the last act rewards the journey.

He has a new review after his rewatch in 70mm.

And Ehrlich really does not like Nolan that much at all.

To me, this just confirms that casting was done to meet Oscars requirements.

This is such a misnomer. Oscar DEI requirements aren’t hard to hit since they also include women and a shite ton of behind the scenes folks.

That's not just "to you". This is an obvious fact.

Richard Dreyfus, who is actually a liberal moonbat himself, had some very poignant comments and thoughts about how DEI and reverse racism is destroying the arts.

Yes, to anyone so completely and thoroughly unfamiliar both with those best picture rules and with recent history. Throw in all of Oscar's history for good measure, as there has never been a winner that would not have qualified under the current rules.

Stop repeating the nonsense of our richest internet trolls. Just like you, they haven't actually read the shite their commenting about.

I do agree with this critic. I think it would be smart of Nolan to bring in a writer to help with the scripts. But that's probably not going to happen

Now that early theater reactions of the film are being posted on YouTube, I hope Internet trolls stop. People are literally saying it is an amazing epic.
