Just watched it with the kids and man it still holds up.

It's amazing that this movie is almost 30 years old.

You can watch it during Christmas too.

GOAT stop motion movie.

Incredible music.

Its phenomonal.

Love that movie. I even had a couple of the watches from Burger King way back when.

It has moved from cult classic to classic.
Quality - the cream will always rise to the top over time.

...31. Not sure why we didn’t watch it as kids. I only saw it about 10 years ago and figured it was relatively new at the time. Shame, because it is a great movie.

Did it do well at the theaters when it first came out or did it earn its following later?

You should.

Probably my favorite depiction of Santa Claus in movie. Danta with 'tude. Santatude is a thing now.

I never got into it when it came out. I wasn't really into musicals as a kid. I would just get bored with all the song and dance.

I watched it as an adult and thought it was pretty good, but it's not a must watch for me every year like other holiday movies. I have been meaning to watch it again though.

Same here. Like the OP, I watched it last night with my kids like we do every year, but I had never seen it before I had kids.

And yes, it is a fantastic movie.

I made a trip to Hawaii in 03 for a wedding. I hate flying. Hate it. Nightmare Before Christmas was playing on a loop on my personal plane screen. That movie, mixed with the sedatives I took, got me through a long flight.

I watched it for the first time, last year, and to be honest, I don't get what the big deal is.

Favorite film of all Time. Still cracks me up that Disney thought it was too dark to release under their name so they threw it out under the Touchstone umbrella.

Music is excellent. I still know most of the songs.

My kids discovered it a few weeks ago and now we listen to the soundtrack all the time in the car and watch it all the time at the house

I have a feeling by Christmas I'm going to hate the movie
