You don’t think the general story line of Robin Hood could make for a good movie if done correctly? Why did you even watch the movie?

I hope this isn't a dig at one of the great adventure movies of the 90s, in all its cheesy glory.

why do people make "modern" period pieces like this?

People in China have terrible taste in movies, so this movie will probably do very well there.

I miss having movie pass and watching these shitty movies in theaters.

I thought it was weird that the chick, who is british, faked an American accent.
also wasn't it insinuated that the sheriff was raped as a kid? That was pretty weird too

I will sit down and watch Knight’s Tale every damn time it is on tv. Love that movie

Chaucer is fricking classic

“The Seeker of Serenity, The Protector of Italian Virginity, The Enforcer of our Lord God, The One, The Only, Sir Ulrich Von Lichtenstein.”

Also, can’t beat a Bowie rager in the Dark Ages

Side note on that, if you’ve ever seen the 7 year engagement Allison Brie has a fake British accent in that movie and she’s just a side character and it’s so bad

Like someone was like okay this is a british character but we HAVE to have Allison Brie in here so tell her to half arse an accent and sign her the hell up

That movie would have been the shite in the early 90's.

Romeo + Juliet always came across to me as some kind of alternate world LA version of the play, and not at all what Robin hood or any of these other movies did.

I was always intrigued by the desert and ocean settings, mixed with the bad Hawaiian shirts, the jewelry, the dated cars, and nickel-plated guns, all mixed with the unique lighting and colors.

For some reason it all just worked. The others really didn't.
