Scott’s Tots

Michael promising to pay inner city youths college tuition, then showing up to his appreciation ceremony with only laptop batteries has to be up there as far as underrated moments

That's not underrated actually.

That's one of the most famous episodes in the Office history.

I have watched every episode of The Office multiple times....except that one. Made me really uncomfortable.

Someone was watching Comedy Central tonight!

The one where they sent out paper which had a watermark of farm animals fricking came on shortly after. I completely forgot about it, but laughed my arse off at his "apology video" speech that somehow ends as a ransom video:

quote:

"They are trying to make me an escape goat. If I am fired, I swear to god, that every single piece of copier paper in this town is going to have the F-word on it. The F-word. You have one day."

Pam: "One day for what?"

Michael: "I don't know, that's just what they always say"

I was watching that one the other day and paused on the que cards. He didn’t read all of them and they were pretty funny. Probably ended up a deleted scene or two.

Everything featuring Creed is an underrated moment.

When Dwight fires the gun in the office and Creed does the quick walk by and hauls the gun out of the office

re: The most underrated moment from The Office
There's a throwaway joke in the third season finale that's funny but ultimately forgetablle. It's about how creed asked Ryan to set him up a blog to post his thoughts. Ryan didn't want creeds insanity out for the public so he set up a word document, put a fake link up top, and told creed that was the blog. The show then cut to creed typing something on his computer about motorcycles

What made that gag one of my all time favorite office gags was that if you went to the office page on the NBC website that summer, there was a link to his blog that they updated about once a week. I read every one

re: The most underrated moment from The Office
I love how every Office thread starts off with a somewhat original topic idea and just ends up with everyone quoting it. True sign of a great show IMO

"I like the sound of your voice michael. I'm gonna buy one million dollars of paper from you"
"That's how it's done"
"You are the master"

my favorite line of this episode

lady customer: i'm going to call the better buisness bureau.
michael: well i'm going to call the ungrateful biotch hotline.

another solid moment is prison mike.
Michael: All right everybody, there has been a lot of name calling against our office today. Corporate maligning, slurring, much of it coming from one of you, who claims that prison is better... than... here. And none of can say "Boo" because none of us have ever been to prison. Well, there's somebody I'd like you to meet. Somebody else who has been to prison, who can tell you what it is really like [puts on bandanna]. I'm prison Mike! You know why they call me prison Mike?!
Angela: Do you really expect us to believe you're somebody else?
Michael: Do you really expect me to not push you up against the wall, beeyotch?! [employees protest] All right, hey, hey, hey, hey, that's just the way we talk in the clink. Been a lot of fun talk about prison today, but I am here to scare you straight. I AM HERE TO SCARE YOU STRAIIIGHT!! In prison you are somebody's bitch. Oh, and you. [points to Ryan] You, my friend, would be da belle of da ball. Don't drop the soap! Don't drop the soap!
Ryan: Michael, please. [Michael makes kissing noises]
Jim: Where... did you learn all of this?
Michael: Internet.
Jim: So, not prison.
Michael: And prison. Eh, fifty-fifty, both. Look, prison stinks, is what I'm saying. It's not like you can go home, and, recharge your batteries, and come back in the morning and, be with your friends, having fun in the office.
Jim: What'd you do, Prison Mike?
Michael: I stole. ... And I robbed. And I kidnapped... the... president's son. And held him for ransom.
Jim: That is... quite the rap sheet, Prison Mike.
Michael: And I nevah got caught, neither.
Jim: Well, you're... in... prison, but, mmhmm.
Pam: Prison Mike? What was the food like in prison?
Michael: Gruel. Sandwiches. Gruel omelettes. Nothing but gruel. Plus, you can eat your own hair.
Andy: Wow. Prison sounds horrible.
Michael: Yeah. Yeah. Well, thank you, Andy. Tanks.
Dwight: Prison Mike. What's the very very worst thing about prison?
Angela: Don't encourage him, Dwight.
Michael: The worst thing about prison was the... was the Dementors. They... were flying all over the place, and they were scary. And they'd come down, and they'd suck the soul out of your body, and it hurt!
Karen: Demen-Dementors like in Harry Potter?
Michael: No, not Harry Potter. ... There are no movies in prison. This is my point! You guys got it soft, and cushy! This place is freaking awesome! The people are awesome! Your boss is nice! Everyone seems to get along! People are tolerant! People who... have jumped to conclusions can redeem themselves! Nobody is nobody's bitch. I hope that this scared you. And from me, Prison Mike, to you, I just wanna thank you for listening to me. Letting me be a part of your life today. 'Cause you got a good life! YOu got a good life. A good life. [turns around, takes bandanna off] So. What do you think? It doesn't sound so great, does it?

I like the one where Packer takes a dump in Michael's office and stinks up the place. Then Creed walks up and asks "Did somebody make soup?"

This. Those things look as ridiculous as a man wearing a women's pantsuit. Sometimes moreso.

Is when Michael unknowingly wears a woman’s suit and gets called out in front of everyone. I always forget about it and it never stops being funny to me.

This episode was on Comedy Central last night. It was great. Then Darryl finds out how much Michael makes when he gives him his pay stub and he texts all his buddies to tell them.
