I am in my early 30's and I remember TBS or TNT pretty much having Shawshank and Rocky on a loop on alternating Sunday afternoons. No matter where the movie was when you flipped over to it, you watched the rest of it
ETA: CMT used to do the same with "Pure Country"

Meh. Its not that its bad or anything, but this isnt exactly something you pop in every month.

Same with Lord of the Rings. I wouldn't call a three hour epic "rewatchable". I guess were debating definitions here, though.

Caddyshack should be way higher.
Which Star Trek are we talking about? Because if its TMP, I'm sure plenty of people here will disagree (Although its probably my favorite.) If were talking Kahn, then thats not a bad choice. If were talking the new one, then
Also, why are there no Mel Brooks movies on this list? Or Back to the Future? Or Ghostbusters?

Most movies that I like are ones that I can rewatch and not really get tired of.
And genre isn't really relevant, though I find comedies more rewatchable than any other genre.

There are only 4 comedies on that list. There should be far more listed, and comedies are for the most part more rewatchable than dramas.

Forgot that one. That is probably the one movie I have seen the most.

Heavily agree with lebowski
Trainspotting may deserve consideration.

I would have to add five to your random list:
Halloween
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Goldfinger
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Independence Day

I've only seen 19 of them.
I tend to rewatch comedies far more than drama/action movies. Movies like Animal House, Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, Swingers, Office Space, Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Step Brothers... nothing with Adam Sandler though.

I could watch Shawshank, Goodfellas, Casino, and Saving Private Ryan over and over. To a lesser extent, Lone Survivor, Zero Dark Thirty, and Hurt Locker too.

It's not a horrible list but you are right. No Blazing Saddles or Holy Grail?

The big lebowski is the most rewatchable movie in my opinion.
