A couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.

Thriller/Comedy

Anya Taylor-Joy is solid as always but Ralph Fiennes steals the show.
This movie is sure to be one of the most divisive films I've seen lately. Some critics not enjoying it I find pretty funny for reasons those who have seen it will understand.

Id give it an 8/10 as a very enjoyable watch and something that is different.

Runtime is about an hour and a half. I was not expecting it to be nearly as good as it was due to how quickly it went streaming.

The Menu….easily one of the worst movies ever shown in theaters

This thread has sort of turned into the main discussion thread for this movie.

It’s an enjoyable movie that is darkly hilarious. Right down to the paying of the bill and the dessert.

Gotcha. I searched and found no results. Could be due to searching "Menu" instead of "Menu...easily"

Good job 7thward with the title

I don't do murder/horror/suspense movies. I'll admit it...I'm a pansy. My wife tricked me in to watching this one and I'll never forgive her for it. I thought it was going to be a chef's table type of thing.

I did enjoy it even though it had me on pins and needles.

This is none of these. Dark comedy where folks die by others' hands but I wouldn't call it horror by any stretch.

I do not watch horror at all and this was not that for sure.

Dark comedy, I enjoyed the heck out of it.

I liked it overall, neat views and concept. I was a little disappointed in the style of the ending but overall not bad.

In effort not to post real spoilers I’ll just say how they “prepared” the last course had me rolling with all of sitting there. The absurdity with the seriousness was a perfect dessert! I loved the movie!!
