This was one of the best finales in TV history, in my opinion. They gave you great closure and did not leave you wondering how it ends. They had great for-shadowing with Midge writing that “Don’t” note to herself indicating she knew she wouldn’t be happy in a conventional life. It cleaned up the Lenny Bruce stuff in a very real way…
I thought it was extremely well done and it did justice to a phenomenal series.
The whole series was extraordinary to me and at no point was I disappointed in a season. It always had laugh out loud moments, I cared about the characters, and it had some all-time memorable scenes (Catskills, Ferris wheel, scenes when Moishe was in the hospital)…
I’m sad it’s over.

Makes it very bittersweet the way they framed it, with Midge trying to

By the end i had totally forgot about the opening with Lenny. That is sad indeed.

We finally got to see Imogene

Nice to see Midge kill on the Gordon show and make it big.

I really want a spinoff of Joel and Archie and the clubs

I was kinda also surprised Susie was still alive in 2005

Also noticed how Midge got upset when her people had nothing scheduled for a random Tuesday

All in all this is a show we will miss, and looking forward to seeing what Brosnahan does next
