In all fairness Luke seemed to be pretty versed in the Jedi ways after a few hours.

After days on Dagobah he could barely lift R2D2 and could not his X Wing with Yoda training him. Rey looked like a master Jedi in the beginning with no one training her.

I think some fans took the time to figure out that Luke spent about 18 months on Dagobah

. You could assume he was there for a while considering the Falcon had to go from Hoth to Bespin at sub light speeds. However, the movie never really tells you anything.

And how many feats did he accomplish with his training?

He never out-dueled Vader as Vader was trying to turn him to the Darkside the entire time. He wasn't trying to defeat Luke.

Then if you remember it was VADER who threw the emperor down the reactor shaft. So all in all Luke didn't win the day using the force, he won it through convincing Vader to turn from the darkside.

Pretty sure Luke blew up a Death star and saved the resistance before going to Dagobah...

Was already a naturally skilled pilot and flew with a similar system to the Hopper shooting whomp rats and it’s been made clear in comic novel cannon I believe that Obi-Wannwas guiding him heavily during that attack run.

fricking Rey, the poor, with no real pilot experience that we see or hear about, hijacks the Falcon and flies it better than Han.

Luke wasn't accidently shooting force lightning by the 3rd film.

He didnt really do shite in the force, yet you knew he was still special.

Because she's the head of Lucasfilm. It's a ceremonial title. By all accounts, she has absolutely zero creative input on the show by order of the suits running Disney. Steven Spielberg was the executive producer for every single one of the Transformers movies. He never once visited the set of any of the films during their production.

You have as much input as she does in regard to The Mandalorian

Threads like this are going to eventually become very angry.

Most Star Wars fans love the way The Mandalorian is going, and also are hugely disappointed in the sequel trilogy.

But, let's face reality here. Favreau is doing brilliantly, but he works for Disney. They're not going to reboot that trilogy; he's going to be tasked to reconcile things so that story fits better. Once that starts happening, a lot of people will lose their shite.

I suspect the movement to restore Mandalore will be what divides the New Republic, making it so weak that they can't resist the New Order.

I think that's a pipe dream because that would require Disney admitting to making a mistake and they aren't accustomed to doing that.

As I watched yesterday’s episode, I couldn’t stop thinking about what could have been had Dave Filoni, as George Lucas intended, been given Kennedy’s position instead.

I honestly think he would have created something as special as the original trilogy. Star Wars is in his DNA.

By all accounts, KK has zero input on Mando. It shows.

He sensed the Force, to fire the torpedoes.

Rey read a trained Sith's mind, and controlled people's mind.

She was basically veteran Obi Wan level of control, before she even knew she could sense the Force.

Your shtick is amusing me.

Stick with fights you can win.
