You really need to power through Rebels. It seems very key to this series

The aerial combat is top notch, the best I have seen in all of Star Wars.
The initial images of the TIE Interceptors looked a bit wonky, but that significantly cleaned up once we got into the atmosphere. Those shots looked incredible.

Odd mix of an episode, not sure what they're leading into. The Coruscant scenes certainly felt like a different story entirely; but it's canon Star Wars stuff, so I guess you can overlay bits and pieces of other tales into Mando.

I'm guessing ol' gal wasn't really just a communications officer, probably intelligence. Love-child of Cyril and Deedra ?

90% of that episode sucked arse and was a like a BoBF episode. The bad acting from the imperial chick was annoying. The weird CGI with the glowing dildos.

Well shite. Never seen an episode of it

And that was a good episode, but if you aren't completely knowledgeable on canon like me, it certainly caught you off guard. We have the fighter scene and then all of the sudden we are on Coruscant with 2 minor characters (I barely remembered the doctor) from previous seasons for 40 minutes.

It was well done don't get me wrong, but at one point I was wondering if my app glitched or something and switched me to a new show

Speaking of that opening TIE Interceptor battle - as fate would have it, our new Sonos Arc soundbar arrived yesterday. We set it up with two of the IKEA Sonos Symfonisk lamps (same as the Sonos One) as rear surrounds, and Mrs Vox was at a loss as to what to play to test drive the new audio.

That scene was the first thing that came to mind. It did not disappoint on rewatch.

(I'll have to wait until she's out of the house to go back and do the seismic mines from Slave I in Attack of the Clones. How bad is that movie that a single SFX drop is the best part of the film?)

The 38-minute Coruscant subplot of Chapter 19

This explains why it seemed so out of place.

It is setting up the Thrawn storyline. Ashoka series is this summer. She was shown earlier asking about Thrawn (carryover from Rebels series). I kind of hope they keep Sabine and Ezra contained to the Ahsoka series for now to make it a true event

It is the best star wars media there is. What it does for the prequel trilogy is pretty amazing.

Haven't they already announced they are doing something with him?

I don’t know. From this December interview it doesn’t seem like it (they’re doing a book apparently). I’m not sure if anything has been officially announced. The actor is game for it though.

I think you're confusing Rebels with Clone Wars.

Although, Rebels was really good as well from the end of season 1 onward.

Outside of Clone Wars final season, I always felt Rebels as a whole was much more impactful.

I still believe Kanan Jarrus's story is the best journey we have seen in Star Wars. Where he comes from, what he goes through, and what he accomplishes in the end is unmatched. He may not be the most powerful jedi in history, but I believe he is one of the greatest and best models of a jedi

I think top to bottom, Clone Wars is better than Rebels. I think some of the highs in Rebels are better than the Highs of Clone Wars though.

I could see this in some instances. However, if you cut The Siege of Mandalore arc into a film, I think it’s as good as literally any other Star Wars media ever made. These episodes absolutely blew me away how great the story and the animation were, and how neatly they tied everything together while also being a fitting (albeit heartbreaking) companion to RotS.

I'd put Ahsoka's journey over him, not to say Kanan's journey was bad. I liked it a lot.

I enjoyed Rebels more than Clone Wars but I am not going to argue one over the other. Both are fantastic.
