I've wanted to see Something Wicked This Way Comes but couldn't find it streaming anywhere. Someone uploaded the entire movie on YouTube though so I'll have to check it out

Same here, don't try to watch it again. The Black Hole does not hold up well.

Lots of shows and movies I loved as a kid don’t hold up. The bane of growing older lol

This movie right here is fantastic, and I have very fond memories of watching it during my childhood.

The Black Hole is near the top of the list of movies that slipped by the ratings people as well as parents and scared the shite out of a lot of kids.

I own it on DVD. I paid a slight premium for it YEARS ago, and I believe I had to buy it from overseas. But it looks like it is $19.99 on Amazon. And the reviews seem to indicate that it's the theatrical version.

I always got that one and the Gnome-mobile movies mixed up IIRC.

For me and it may be because they are older ones is Summer Magic, The boy who could fly, Flight of the Navigator, Pollyanna, the original Flubber, The Absent minded professor, the ugly dachsund. Some of these are on Disney+ so it is neat to make my kids sit down and watch them with me.

I'll add Watcher in the Woods....freaked me the frick out as a kid but I love it.

This was supposed to be added to D+ like last March, and it's still not there I don't believe.

Oh all of the movies where the kid is a computer but looks human. I liked all those and I don't think they are on Disney+ either. :/

Bedknobs and Broomsticks is the GOAT underrated Disney movie.

The Black Cauldron is good too. I think it was unavailable for a long time before Disney+.

The Great Mouse Detective

My personal favorite. Vincent Price is perfect as Ratigan, and Henry Mancini's music is fantastic.

I don't think it gets enough credit for keeping the faith in the animation studios after The Black Cauldron flopped. Its commercial and critical success allowed Disney to attract more talent for their subsequent projects, which ushered in the Renaissance period.

I can’t remember which VHS it was but part of the previews had a preview for the black cauldron being available soon on VHS. I’ve probably seen that preview for the black cauldron 1000 times and the imagery and tone is seared into my brain.

Never seen the black cauldron the movie though lol.
