No it just shows how poorly you comprehended that scene. It's not a girl boss moment it pretty obviously shows how Ellie is pissed off at everyone and how she's making mistakes. Which of course is later confirmed when she nearly gets herself killed later on. She's not supposed to come off as some badass there that's on you for assuming that. She's acting out and everyone is calling her out on her shite

Pretty ironic since you have no idea what you’re talking about so you made an ignorant assumption.

It’s not good, never thought a zombie style story could be so boring.
It occurred to me that I'd already seen most of this in The Walking Dead.
Which turned into its own dumpster fire right around the time Negan showed up (the actor sucked).

You can't be that naive. That's the entire point of that scene: to show how much of a "badass" she supposedly is. That was the whole point of pitting an 85 lb girl against a 225 lb dude and having her win. It's not complicated. It's just straight up, dumb, intentional girl-power agenda.
Of all the things going on in this movie, including the antagonists being fungus humanoids, the most implausible elements are blatant attempts to hit the viewer over the face with girl power motifs.

Interesting, I took it as she’s not ready to be a bad arse because he held back. Just different perspectives I guess

I mean, it’s a zombie show. At least the fungus is a new twist to things.

It’s the failed game of show and tell modern writers can’t figure out. They tell you one thing and show the exact opposite. We’re told he’s holding back which makes sense via his offensive tactics towards her but when she’s manhandling and hurting him he isn’t holding back, she’s in total control despite it being physically impossible not just because of the size disparity but because of the moves she’s using.

Expect he was holding back so that's not what was happening you're literally just pulling shite out of your arse so you can be angry

U say irony when it doesn't apply. Form an original option instead of trying to fit in

You and dawgfan are just as fricking aggravating about this show as the other dudes

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the holding back about the punch to her face? He didn't want to knock her out. I don't think they were talking about the wrestling match. She actually made him tap out lol

He’s holding onto to anything he can twist to pervert the truth.

I'm just starting episode 2, who is the other group of people with the girl? Why are they wanting to kill Joel? I may have missed it
