By people who hate Star Wars.

There's an underrated element of "some people just want to watch the world burn" in this.

If you judge the intention of the action by the predictable outcome RJ and KK just wanted to frick up something other people loved because they dislike other people.

It’s honestly tough for me to believe that Johnson got Hamill to do a lot of the scenes that were in the movie. Hamill has always loved the character and I can’t believe he didn’t say “frick this” and walk off.

It is interesting

For a while his comments made it clear how non plussed he was with the movie but eventually he towed the line.

Yep, it was obvious he wasn't happy with his role. I'm sure someday he'll let it all out

The prank phone call was the worst Star Wars moment I’ve ever seen until I watched the rest of this piece of crap.
Also, I never imagined there would be a movie with two characters worse than Jar Jar.

The build up of Snoke from The Force Awakens...

... and then he turns out to be nobody and is laughably killed off

When did that happen?

It was implied during the casino scene. All the big fat cats instigated galactic warfare to make money off the military complex of the empire.

What if Rian Johnson never gets to make another #StarWars movie? “It wouldn’t be the end of the world for anyone, I think. But I would be sad. I love the world. I love the people. I love fans. I love the passion of how they engage in it."

It never happened. Revenge of the Sith finished the original telling of the story and a decent prequel to ANH was made, Rogue One. There is no Disney trilogy. It was all just a bad dream.

I’ve seen every Star Wars movie at the theater opening week since the OT special editions in 1997. TLJ was so awful, I didn’t even bother watching Rise of Skywalker until it hit streaming. Even Phantom Menace wasn’t bad enough to keep me away from the next one.

I won’t allow my kids to see it. I watched the first one and thought it sucked compared to what it should have been. TLJ was the kind of thing that should have ruined the lives of everyone that was involved creatively. As a dad with three young boys I thought Solo was awesome and hate that we don’t get more of that because of TLJ effect on it. In an unpopular opinion for this thread, the third movie is actually pretty good if you have kids, lots of action in the place of depth. It keeps simple minds entertained.

Also the robbed the OT people of their happy ending, their ride off into the sunset. That was stupid as frick.

it was like the movie was designed specifically to not allow bad reviews. everyone who praised it "gets it" and everyone who bashed it is just "an online troll" and most likely a racist and misogynist to boot. it's maddening.

TLJ was so infuriating that I still have t seen the last one. Don’t even care what it’s called.

And I saw the first one opening week at the Bon Marche Twin in 77 as a 10 year old kid.

frick Rian Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy. I hope they both end up penniless and destitute, sucking trucker cocks behind a Jet24 in Bunkie.
