Underrated movie for sure. EC is what our ancestors fought wars over, and rightfully so.

For those who haven't seen it, just make sure you watch the one from 2004 and not the one from 2007.

The 2007 movie is quite the downer (and based on a true story which makes it that much worse)

The fact that Paul Dano has convinced you that he's awful means he's good at his job.

You're right, but that movie should never have been made.

Lack of nudity brings it down a few notches.

Girl Next Door is a blatant ripoff of Risky Business in almost all apsects, but I don't care. It's great.

Totally agree...

Trivia fact about him...he's actually a member of the Vanderbilt family, and has a direct relation to Cornelius Vanderbilt.

So is he Anderson Cooper's cousin?

Cooper was born in Manhattan, New York City, the younger son of writer Wyatt Emory Cooper and artist Gloria Vanderbilt.

Watched this for the first time in probly 15 years a few months back.

It's funny, romantic, and Cuthbert is literally built different.

Fun flick.

While her career wasn’t next level, EC was hilarious in Happy Endings and she’s married to an NHL player.

The soundtrack for this movie was solid as well. One of my all time favorites.

Agreed. Speaking of how someone didn't get bigger, it seems that way for The Verve as well. Lucky Man and Bittersweet Symphony are both great songs. I'm guessing they have more, but haven't bothered to check. Yes, I realize the irony in my statements

They got fricked pretty hard by the Stones on a royalty claim on this one.

That and hoovering a few hundred grand of sneef in the studio probably put a crimp in the production budgets going forward.

I have a special place in my heart for it because it came out in like April 2004 and I was a few weeks away from graduating myself so me and a bunch of my buddies and girls went see it.

I think its free to watch on YouTube. Because I remember back in the fall coming home from an LSU game, and throwing it on the big screen and watching it with a bunch of drinks.
