I think my favorite part was Jack pulling the chair out for Bridgette and them sitting down as equals as such. They stand to probably have the realest relationship out of anyone on the show

I also saw that most of the actors in The Gilded Age were from the musical theater world. Julian Fellows, how about a musical episode?
I listen to the podcast and a lot of the actors have been asked about it. I think the actors would love for Julian to do a musical Christmas special. It would be gorgeous seeing the grand ballroom and the dining room decked out for Christmas dinner.

Railroad Zaddy lives but man, Bertha gonna get the Alva Vanderbilt treatment.
i was really rooting for them in the beginning, because their love of family seemed to be their best quality, but then i was happy he stood up to her and doubled down on his kids, but honestly, I don't want to see her become a replica of Mrs. Astor. Their difference is what keeps the tension likable and interesting. so, I hope they have her learn a lesson and get her marriage back on track.

Larry made an alpha move by not taking Marian back so easily.
Mr. Russel’s vibe shift towards Bertha at the end was odd.
No idea what they will do with Jack in the next season.

I hope they keep Jack around. They can do a lot with his transition from staff to society.
I thought the season was excellent, but they have to give the staff better storylines. Jack’s rise to riches was good, but the spy in the Russell house was some of the most blatant filler plot I’ve ever seen.
That’s just the laudanum talking.

Real life leads to a divorce and her rise as the queen of social society in New York. I'm curious if he's going to hold true or keep them together.
If they split, I hope Mr. Russell stays as a character. I love his acting and the ruthless businessman storyline.

Agreed. And it’s so frustrating knowing how well the staff was written and portrayed in Downton Abbey.
I hate that they pretty much abandoned the whole storyline with the house maid and the Chef at the Russell’s home. That definitely would’ve had some intrigue to it if they further explored her still being married to a man in an asylum.

Also thought this was pretty spot on. Poor Bertha. Made her own bed though.

I agree but I think the most crucial scene was the doctor saving the robber baron's life on the dining room table. The tension wasn't just the life in the balance, but the addition of the doctor's life being ended if he failed to save his patient.

I thought it wrapped up things a little too nicely while leaving some hanging strings that should have been addressed.
I would have liked to see Mrs. Astor a little less caring and kumbaya while still supporting her daughter. Out of character for her.
Letting the Heritage Society lady fall a bit flat with her interest in Agnes being so benign.
Oscar and Enid Winterton are a match made for future fun and intrigue.
I think Jack and Bridget is nice, but I think Jack feels things a bit too deeply to let her back in his heart so easily, although his respect for her is right on character.
Wanted a little more of Ward McAllister and the fallout to follow, but okay.
All in all a bit of thud ending for me, but still enjoying immensely.

They should have kept her a bougie bitch.

This was straight up ridiculous, unless there's a curve ball coming next season.

This is going to be magnificent, I can't wait to see this unfold.

Yeah, I mean is he truly done? They just dropped him off a cliff.

Ha, I had to zoom in to notice.

I was late on this show, but just wrapped up Season Three. I want to see where Jack goes… but 100% the most interesting character right now is Oskar. I want to see him stack some wins.
