The Garfield Movie (2024; Chris Pratt) - Trailer

My 8-yo found my old Garfield books and he’s obsessed with it now. Just found out there’s a new movie out next month. This looks fun… my son was cracking up during the trailer. Chris does a pretty good Garfield voice.

Never understood why Garfield was ever a thing. It just copied the superior existing comic cat Healthcliff.

Maybe because the majority of topics on here are bad movies or tv shows, which is logically since the majority of movies or tv shows are actually bad (with the occasional diamond like Shogun). Like this Garfield, or the last Garfield movie, or the cloying cartoon strip that ripped off the superior Healthcliff, which came out a few years before. Both orange cats who did their own thing but Heathcliff was boss and Garfield was a bitch.

That looks like it should be fun for kids to watch. Should be clean and no wokeness.
