And actually, they never said what happened to future Flash after Barry's mom was killed. If RF became trapped in the past, wouldn't future Flash also be stuck in the past? So where is future Flash then?

I've always thought Wells was future Barry. Tom saying he was the RF made me second guess it though. I'm now coming back around to it. It just makes too much sense imo.
The only hole in it is that Wells has killed in cold blood and is willing to again. The only thing I can think of to justify that is Barry from a different timeline where his life was much different.

But wells and Barry have different DNA. They confirmed that last night. Having future flash stuck in the past doesn't leave many candidates.

did they? All they confirmed was that it did not match what was on file. Assuming Wells is Future Barry, there's no way his actual DNA would be on file for someone to test. Given Barry and Wells work cases together, their samples would be tested all the time to rule them out.
I'm not saying he is or isn't, btw. That shot of the back of his head linked to the gun reference did make me stop and wonder what it was about. If Tom Cavanagh just so happens to have a mole right in the same spot as the bullet that hit Barry last episode, that's a most unfortunate accidental Easter egg.

With all the speculation in this thread over just a few characters all I can say is thank god GOT doesn't have time travel. My fricking head would explode trying to follow that.

Hmm. I thought I had remembered him taking a dna sample from a coffee cup but that may have been some other show. This seems like something that should have come up during Barry's investigation into the attack at wells' place. There should have been a control for his DNA used I would think that was found all over the house.
I was trying to think of a way that BOTH his "dad" and wells are future Barry. I haven't worked out all the details yet but something to do with the quantum splicer we saw last night.

Why would there be no way that Wells' true blood sample would be on file? If there is a "Wells" sample on file, then it would've probably been taken at some point in between the time he assumed the Dr. Wells identity and the current time. He wouldn't have been able to just assume some living Star Labs' scientist's identity without everyone noticing that he wasn't the real Dr. Wells. So he would've had to have been hired on at Star Labs as Dr. Wells.
It's not like the government keeps DNA samples of everyone when they are born...at least that we know of.

I'm just saying that if Wells can positively be linked to any living person AND he's a time traveler, I'm hesitant to think he'd roll on into the lab and stick out his arm knowing his sample would show who he really is. Maybe he "provided" a sample...who's to say it's actually his?

Can we discuss the giant piece of human garbage that is the girl Barry is dating? Her personality sucks, she is not that attractive, and she is a complete bitch. Also, imagine the roles were reversed in last night's episode on their second date. Imagine Barry wanted to skip dinner and go straight to sex, the girl was reluctant but Barry basically says, "We are doing this", then when the girl suddenly has to go and doesn't put out, Barry says, "I'm not wasting my time on you." Barry would come off as an a-hole. But since the roles were reversed everyone thinks the girl is cool, modern, and edgy? She is a just a bitch, and I hope she gets written out of the show soon.

I think she is hot and much more likeable than Iris. Iris has pretty much shitted on Barry and now she is going to go the jealous route.
I don't think you have anything to worry about though, Iris will end up confessing she loves Barry because of this. Eddie will start his evil path.

the blood sample stuff just seems like a red herring to me. theres a very easy way to just twist what Cisco said and explain it away if they so choose. they left it very vague for a reason.

I don't think she is hotter than Iris. And in Iris' defense, Barry has liked her since they were kids and never once made a move on her until she was moving in with someone. It's not Iris' fault that Barry was beta as hell.
My biggest problem with Park is that she is Wally West's long time girl friend in the comics. I've been fine with the showrunners changing some of the aspects of the characters on this show and Arrow in the past, but for some reason having Wally's girl become a Barry's girl just irks me.

To each his own. She has pretty much annoyed me from jump street. That whole telling his girl that he was in love with another girl, was a total douche move. Glad Barry actually called her out on it.
