Your correct, Barry as a child was there. But no one knows RF exists, much less that Eddie would be RF. They know there is an evil yellow streak in existance.

Barry's blood samples are in STAR labs data base, so it's not far fetched to think Cisco would compare to prove the blood stains on the walls to Barry's. In order to eliminate this possibility. And he got a match, but for a mature Barry

Actually they do. Both Joe and Cisco know that RF exists (heck, Cisco named him). But neither one has any reason whatsoever to believe Eddie is the RF. Joe on the other hand has/had a suspicion that Wells is the RF, although that is probably not be the case now that the blood samples didn't match Wells' (at least the ones that are in the Star Labs database). I'm guessing that is why is the preview for next week's episode, Joe is asking Wells about the possibility of time travel.

Guys, Wells isn't future Barry, you gotta let that one go. His blood was found at the crime scene because he was there that night trying to stop his moms death. Listen to Bamatab he knows what he's talking about.

That being said I hope like hell season 1 ends with Barry saving his mom and causing the flashpoint paradox.

I find myself only being interested in the hunt for Barry's mom's murderer right now. The last few weeks haven't done much for me.

I can go with what you're saying, if it means future Barry is somewhere in the background waiting. I just don't want it to be the obvious or what the shows execs want us to think it is.

Now it would be the shite if Barry's father is actually the future Barry! As in he and Wells got stuck in the past the night Barry's mother was killed. They both loose their connection to Speedforce. RF becomes Wells and Future Barry takes on the role of his father somehow!

Get it!! The actor that played the Flash in the 90s is the Flash!!

Maybe, but I think Barry's dad being future Barry is the most obvious storyline. I would like it though.

How could Barry's dad (the dude in prison) be future Barry? In the pilot episode we saw young Barry interacting with his dad before the night Barry's mother died.

I assumed he went back too early and ending up raising himself in the absence of whoever his real father is. I think this was too obvious due to the casting of his dad, but I would like it.

Gideon in DC comics is one of the New Gods.

The name Gideon means "The Destroyer" and the biblical Gideon was a judge of the Israelites.

Have at it.

So Barry was shacking up with his mother from as far back as present Barry can remember until the night of her murder? Yeah, I don't know if I'm buying that (and I don't know if I want to ).

But in all seriousness, that would take a long drawn out "scam" (like what, 13 to 15 years) on future Barry's and his mom's part, which would involve them acting like they were husband and wife for that whole time. That would take some serious dedication (not to mention being pretty messed up).

So he married his Mom to raise Barry and in their entire marriage they didn't have sex or anything?

Did they ever show his dad at the scene when his mom was killed? I don't think they did. They show him after it was all over with. Maybe Barry grows up to look like his father, as a lot of sons do. Thus, after his mom is dead, young Barry sees older Barry being handcuffed and put in the police car and believes him to be his father.

Ok...I guess we'd need a screen shot, but does anyone remember this scene this way?

When Wells is in his chamber talking to the computer and he takes out the gun, she tells him it's a crude weapon, and he reaches to the back of his head and says he agrees. They stayed on that shot from behind an unnecessarily long time...remember? If you still framed it, there is what looks like a spot or scar right in the middle of his neck. Wasn't Barry almost shot and killed in the previous episode but he caught it and it left a mark?

I always thought it was an interesting idea that Wells was Future Barry but I did not give it much credence...but that scene left me wondering.

Anyone see it like that? Did anyone else see the scar on his neck or wonder why he reached for the back of his head and they shot it like that when the gun was mentioned?
