either rating matter or money matters but your flip flopping like a hack.
because you’re absolutely a hack.

Context matters, smooth brain. If you can't keep up, don't step up.
BTW, Rings of Power retained a whopping 37% of its viewers from start to finish.
Most shows get cancelled if they drop below 50% in their 1st year.
Carry on with your cope.

the context is you’ve not seen these movies and are a fricking retard so you’ll grasp whatever you can to shite in them.
while also arguing review bombing isn’t real.

The best part is that they sucked without me seeing them.
The boxoffice doesn't change one bit. The retention of viewers on Rings of Power stays exactly the same. Oh, and Amazon lost a PRIME member in me, so there's that.

Love and Thunder still made more than Thor 1.

but the low fan score is still fake?
Fake? No, but it did get hit with review bombs early on before the movie even released its why RT changed their system to verify the legitimacy of the reviews. Overall the movie was just ok maybe a 65-70 rating. Regardless it still refutes his claim that it was universally hated

I see this is the hill you're going to die on, huh? Even though it's been explained that CM got the luckiest of lucky release dates in all of cinema.
Then promptly fell flat on its face with The Marvels.
Think you'll see Brie Larson in the MCU again? In anything other than a bit role, even if that? Good luck.

OK. Wear your Lady Thor T-Shirt with pride!

C'mon, you don't really buy that review bomb nonsense, do you? It's corporate speak for CYA. There was no organized effort here. Folks genuinely didn't like it. Netflix did the same thing for Amy Schumer's horrible special that got downvoted into oblivion.
And speaking of astro-turffed campaigns, what about Amazon's 'super fans' for Rings of Power? Uber cringe and utterly contrived. In fact, one of the lead 'fans' in the UK version never even bothered to see RoP! She admitted as much herself, saying that she watched House of the Dragon instead.

On a less emotional level ...
I think I'm done with superhero movies unless one comes out that is truly game-changing good. I'm just tired of them.
A bit of perspective- I watched (and liked) Hancock, and My Super (Ex)Girlfriend, back in the day. Those were different than the usual fare, and the effects were decent.
I think Black Adam is probably a better movie... but I barely remember it, because we're in such a deluge of these films. The superhero story is just played out.
Marvel should have transitioned into X Men or FF as soon as they had the rights, before the last few movies put the nail into the coffin. They might have revived the interest.

There were over 1000 reviews before the movie came out review bombing is a thing

Yep. Good fun.
Speaking off offbeat movies, did anyone ever see Colossal? With Anne Hathaway? I remember seeing a teaser for it, but never saw it playing anywhere or even streaming. I've no idea what the hell that's even about.

The movie was garbage. The fan score is accurate imo.

May not be universally hated, but it's definitely not liked by the people who frequent comic book movies, as evidenced by The Marvels bombing

Are you sure about that? 1000?
There are such things called screenings. Early access to fans & critics.
And how many of those were negative?

The people who make the "review bombing" claim never seem to acknowledge that if one side could abuse this system, then the other side could as well and almost certainly would.

This. And it happens both directions for every movie and every game.
Now, after some time, the review is probably accurate. But not 5 days when reviews open, we aren't talking about that.
Also, I thought we believed Disney also bought and paid all reviewers as well for all of their movies.
Both reviews and dollars are inaccurate and fuzzy ways to judge films. Everyone knows hollywood Financials are not truly reported. This is kind of a pointless conversation.
The point I would glean, is that you CAN make a successful film, see Black Panther(successful with critics, audiences and dollars), with a diverse or female hero - therefore, you should leave hero traditions alone. Cast them as they are. So yes, this Silver Surfer change is a huge problem. And is Disney being subversive.
They don't need to do it except to hit some imaginary quota system that Sammy and friends have but don't tell anyone.

Marvel will be fine. They can literally create a new saga with just these two franchises. The days of D level characters making big bucks might be over, but they still have a lot to work with.

Large number of one stars, don’t be obtuse because you have a hate boner for marvel

Don’t get wrecked just because every Marvel movie since Endgame has been utter trash.

This is absolutely false and really proves you have no idea what you are talking about. You are just as bad as the woke patrol you rail against.
Moving on, I have no interest in reading through the entirety of this shitshow thread, but the word is that this movie will take place in an alternate universe a la Dr Strange 2 and that’s why the Silver Surfer in that universe is female. The Silver Surfer in the main line MCU universe is still Norrin Radd.
