Damn. I haven't even thought of that. That's an excellent point. Hate that they're losing him but from what i've read he does seem like a piece of shite. Maybe some of it was just overblown, I don't really know.
Agree with what someone else said, not a fan of that peaches fight scene. Should have done that much different. Still a great episode.

It felt very cheap and uninspired.
The past two episodes have also been very slow, but hopefully all the buildup pays off. I am starting to see where this is going I believe.

She seemed to be a bit of a BA early on, but then she started caring about the kid she doesn't know... took a bit off her fastball. Never having been a mother, or female, I don't get what sparked her sudden drive to reunite with Phillip, but she was super late in the game in trying to 'save' him. It's kind of annoying, to be honest. Seemed to me that she should have resigned herself to just letting the past go. But maybe there's hope, that she can turn him or at least get her head screwed back in right.

i realy dislike Naomi, main because of the actress. she just oozes sassy black woman.

I don’t recall Naomi ever being “sassy” so it’s definitely the black part.

All I did was ask as simple question. Some of her antics do annoy me, but 'sassy' isn't how I'd describe her. IDK what they've done with the character from the first few seasons, but anyway, I don't see how me asking for clarification deserves a down vote.

Book 5 was a grind. Least enjoyable for me, so far.

The show has not done a good job of explaining that angle. Frankly, the show hasn't represented Naomi as well as it could have. She makes petulant little comments, and takes the victimization thing way too far. In the books, it's usually Holden that plays the victim card on behalf of the belt, and when he's being ridiculous, Naomi basically tells him to stop being such a pussy.
She loves Filip, and when she left, she wanted to take him with her, away from Marco. Marco wouldn't let her.

Yeah, plus it doesn't help that she is super SJW. I've heard her interviewed on podcasts before, and she just has a myopic view about people.

Just ordered the set 1-8 off Amazon. Love the show. I'm sure the books are better.

I don't know if I'd describe her show character as sassy, but she's definitely petty at times.
IMO, I think that's just an aspect of the victim culture the actress herself has projected onto Naomi.
