That doesn't mean what you want it to mean.

If they go the route you guys suggest, it will not be a good Green Lantern show. They haven't done that yet.
Can you find any posts where I said I don't like this show?

Anyone can read this thread and see that you don't like this show even if you didn't explicitly say "I don't like this show"

Nope, they can't.

So far, its not good, but its not overly horrible. Its just a big slow and characters do dumb things.

I liked the first episode till the final scene, but it was pretty obvious that was coming based on the trailers. Second episode was just bad and completely skippable. Folks itt don't like it being pointed out that nothing happened in the second episode.

It's fun to watch you give up over multiple posts. By all means, please continue.

Dude you've been dogging episode two for 10 pages straight now.

Well he did say that the Daily Wite+ was a better streaming service than Apple+ and that Apple+ would go under and that shows on there are relegated from other streaming services, Yea, safe to say he's on truth social.

Never said this. I said everything Daily Wire puts out is great, which is true. I also said Apple+ will be shut down if it keeps losing so much money, which is also true. The best strategy for Apple+ is to just hold out for when that happens and watch the catalogue on whatever service they sell all their content to.

This isn't true. There's nothing to dog about episode 2. They simply didn't show anything at all. Anyone honest with themselves could admit that they would easily go from episode 1 to episode 3 without missing anything.

This is a peak Madking gaslighting attempt

The second episode gave us a little more training between Hal and John, but it was damned unsatisfying. "Just fly"...?
And then we have the issue with the ring running out of juice but John's bird remained. That seems to be a change from lore where the ring maintained the construct (thus if it lost charge, the construct vanished). It was an interesting vehicle to show John's concentration, but not sure I like that expansion of the ring's ability (seems a bit OP for me).
Hal's character seems to bounce back and forth between being a brilliant detective and being just a lucky, bumbling a-hole. It's such a wide gulf between the two that it's a bit jarring as you don't know which Hal you are going to get from scene to scene (the bodies in the detector versus the town hall meeting, for example). It feels like they are trying to make him into a bit of a Space Columbo but have taken it a bit too far.
Still watching and still enjoying, but there are some definite cracks in the writing.

Yes you did. One of your big things was laughing at Masters of Air being on Apple because it asn't good enough for HBO so it was relegated to Apple. Even when I showed you the showrunners turned down HBO's ofer. ANd at the same time Martin Scorcese was making a best picture winner on Apple. So i guess guys like Scorsese are relegated to Apple too

So like I said, you said it was going under. Congrats on never getting to watch any Apple shows. What a great strategy! Losing a billion a year is nothing to a company that makes 100 billion in net profit a year.

It's a really head-scratching scenario that contradicts the foundation they should be laying with Green Lantern and how they work. No ring, no power is a pretty central theme to how those characters work. I'm not sure how they're going to reconcile that.

It definitely doesn't feel like Hal Jordan. Sometimes he acts more like I would expect Guy Gardner to act.

No, I said being put on Apple+ is like being relegated. Not because Apple+ is bad. Because Apple+ isn't popular. You imagined more into my statement than was there.

I'm not exactly going out on a limb here. Billion dollar companies didn't get there by forever carrying segments that churn out billion-dollar losses.
I've lost out on nothing by waiting them out.

Nope, everything they've released so far is objectively good. I'm sure you've watched none of it, so you wouldn't know.
