Can someone fill us in on Bananas's scandals?

Bananas was on Game of Clones, that dating show that Leroy, Cara, Pauly D and others were on. His episode was removed from the show and the series was delayed after he was accused of sexual misconduct with a female contestant in an elevator.

The cast certainly knows about this as Pauly and Nelson have referenced it on social media.

Now this last part is only speculative but it appears Bananas as gotten producers to threaten people with not being cast if they continue to reference it on social media, in an attempt to keep the scandal quiet. That part is open to some questions.

The other thing is that on last season, John along with Kyle and Theo duct taped Amanda’s mouth shut and taped her entire body early on in the season. This was done as a “prank” at some point in the first few weeks of the show.

This wasn’t shown but it has been covered by People, Us Weekly and other mainstream publications, and it has definitely been discussed by the cast.

That final was insane. There had to be some sort of gap between them getting out of the “Pain Locker” and running the final stretch no? They went from barely being able to walk to sprinting the finish.

Regardless, that final was gnarly. It will be interesting to see how long Turbo lasts next season, as I’d assume they are going to target him every chance they get. Will he be able to hold up mentally and emotionally? I don’t know. He seems to take a lot of this personally. Him helping his competitors in the final was awesome. Absolutely love that guy, and for Wes to comment at the end to TJ “please lose Turbo’s number”, can’t get a much better endorsement than that.

I’m bummed we didn’t get to see Paulie run that final. I think he could have given Theo and Turbo a run for their money. Maybe it was a good thing though. Seeing how far he pushed himself on the challenge that eliminated him, he might have charged headfirst and completely blown himself up early.

Hard to not like that final 3 in Turbo/Theo/Wes. All really likeable people. Kind of glad nothing came to help the women, especially cause it looked like Natalie got a respite on that first leg last week that the others didn’t get. She looked completely rejuvenated from that.

All in all, lots of new strong competitors and shouldnt rely on the older vets moving forward to be entertaining, especially if the physical competition aspect gets ramped up like this season. Should be fun to see people get targeted based on how good they are at competing instead of stupid drama.

Yeah none of it is surprising. He did the same stuff on his Key West season, where he pulled a roomate’s top off while she was yelling at him not to, that got Vinny kicked off from the Challenge a few years later, and that was all before the Me Too era. The most surprising thing about the Kenny/Evan/Tonya incident is that John wasn’t involved. Must have picked the right time to take a nap or something.

With new stars and an international pool, I think there will be more pressure on John to perform to keep getting invited back every season.

I’m very curious about the format. One suspected format is “Allies” where people are paired with a friend. So it could be John and Leroy, Ninja and Dee, Theo and Bear, etc. if they do that, I hope they have no coed teams. I’m skeptical abour the format though because it doesn’t work with lots of people.

All they have to do is tell him how much money he could win. He said they have to make it worth it monetarily for him to take time away from his job, but they don’t tell people ahead of time what the prize is.

Brutal final. Wes looked sick on that second leg, and that possibly cost him first place.

Theo was clearly the best for most of this final, but math cost him first place.

Anyone who really wants to win next season has to target Turbo. Dude is like Landon, but smarter, and is legitimately more intimidating than old psycho CT back in the day.

I thought the trivia thing was stupid. Just have them write down their answers so it plays out in a way that makes more sense. What happens if they all just get in the same circle over and over? And the advantage wasn’t that great anyway.

Not a Cara fan, but to be fair to her, she didn’t get the fluids and still clearly could have finished that final. Girl definitely has crazy endurance.

The reunion will be dumb. Bananas will make it unwatchable.

Especially since they asked for largest river in the world, not the longest. And the Amazon has about 5 times as much average discharge as the next closest.

I'm sure they won't release the times because it's soemthing insane like 16 hours vs 18 hours or soemthing.

It looked like it was basically dusk at the finale's end. Theta means they did like 6-8 hrs day 1 and probably about 8 or 9 hours day 2.


Those guys could barely walk after day 1 and basically ran another marathon over sand dunes the next day.

The only way that they can knock out Turbo is if they get him in a fluky elimination like the blindfolded sword fighting game where every one is about the same.

Or they can hope it’s a puzzle challenge and put a very smart person in and hope he can beat Turbo. However turbo is still pretty good at puzzles.

Maybe they can convince Joss or Theo or maybe Jordan in a pure endurance challenge or something. That would at least be close.

All of those are much easier said than done though.

The show has had great finals guys like Jordan who have great endurance. Theo is in that group. They’ve had guys like CT who are generally unbeatable in eliminations except in fluky stuff or some puzzles. But not since peak Landon have they had a guy who is in both groups.

Btw it was funny to see that Turbo’s victory got serious coverage on the top Turkish news websites.

Watching the finale finally.

I absolutely love that Hunter quit. What a fig. And Natalie, calm down. You didn’t exactly “beat” Hunter. You outlasted him in what looked to be a ten minute walk in the cool desert night. Calm down.

And I love that Cara just said Natalie was her biggest competition. Not the three dudes literally in the lead and in the tribunal. Idiot.

What a stupid fricking thing to do to have Cara get a mile advantage on those sand dunes (which is an insane advantage) but then have to stand still and sit there until someone arrives to play fricking connect four?

I hate her though, so it’s hilarious that she sucks so bad and keeps losing though.

I love how the food challenge is normal food that gives you energy. Wtf? And it sucks that you can frick someone else by giving them food.

I love how they made them do math for the combination. That was great. And that’s the type of mental challenge that is perfect. I also love how someone gets left on the beach. That’s a cool twist.

Can they not look at the other people’s locks and get the code? I assume they can’t.

Turbo wasting time and helping people is stupid. And I hope it bites him in the arse.

So glad Cara lost out. Hahaa, you suck. I guess all the millions of little girls that idolize you will be devastated.

I always love how badly everyone on the show rows or paddles. It’s awesome.

Man Theo is such a great runner. Damn. Although it does take everything away from that final sprint/race since it’s based on overall time and not that race.

At this point I’m pulling for Wes or Theo. But as long as Natalie or Cara didn’t win I’m good.

Turbo. Nice. Dude is a machine, man. He’s such a weird dude and I hope they keep him coming back. Theo too actually. Really liked that dude.

This has been one of the best seasons in a while. I’m glad the challenge is back to its old form somewhat. And I feel like it’s been on for like 6 months.
