I wish he had Wes on instead. Simmons softballs people he likes even if they are way inferior to him.

Last thing we need is for John to defend himself for an hour

Funny how a lot of folks are bringing up how John is dominating in this era. He has a monopoly on this. He coasts every season.

One year I watched his first few challenges and he was so pathetic. No one liked him and he got voted off quickly. Then everyone started retiring and the new people are his bitcheS

I get that Johnny is a jerk. But hes soooo much smarter than everyone on that show save maybe Wes. Both those guys are like actual people.

BTW, John made the only choice. There are friends and then there are people you know from reality TV. Dont get the 2 twisted. Its my biggest gripe on Big Brother. People always talk about loyalty and "shes my best friend in the house." Bitch I got enough friends. Ive known them since I was 7, theyve been in fights with me and would help me bury a fricking body if i asked them to. We arent friends. We are people who choose to get along for the 4 weeks we are in Mexico wearing shirts with our first names on them. Loyalty doesnt apply at all. Get. Dat. Money.

I don't watch Big Brother, but they have a new cast each season, right? So this is a little different because John and Sarah have known each other and done this show together for years instead of one season.

That said, after getting past the initial "holy crap" factor, I do think he made the correct decision to take the money.

Finally watched the finale. My wife doesn't watch but happened to be in the room with me. I was explaining the twist and we both said he should take the money and run. 25k and 50k isn't life changing so splitting it wasn't a big deal. Over a quarter million is life changing if handled properly. He made the best decision for himself which is what I would have done. He's already a polarizing figure that you either love or hate.

I'm hoping with this new MTV Classic channel they start showing old seasons of the Challenge

I feel like there is no way they don't do this.

And when they do, I am all about some rewatch threads.

Favorite seasons? I like Inferno 2 and the first Rivals. Also the Dual that Wes won. Worst is the Island and Bloodlines.

I hate that people keep comparing what Sarah did to him last season, to what he did. It's totally different situations. I truly believe Johnny would have not won this year with any other girl as his partner (from this season).

And even if we completely erased how Sarah 'betrayed' him last year, he still would have found another excuse to take all the money for himself.

He would have won with Jenna.

Before John had his power group with Kenny and Evan, he was a nothing on the show. Then they essentially ran the game for 4 or 5 yrs.

When Kenny and Evan were banned most of the great cast memebers lile Derek, Alton, Darrell, Brad, Miz, and Landon either retired or got real lives. Now all John has as actual competition is a semi retired, old CT, non roid Wes, and it seems Frank and Zack have also quit the show.

He has a cake walk to the final every year now especially that he has Vince as a guaranteed ally for him. Hell he can do these things til he's 40 and win with those kinds of odds.

I still think he's gunning for TJs hosting gig though, but Lavin is too smart to turn down that gravy train.

Also John just said on Simmons podcast that Derrick just went through a very nasty divorce and is training for and trying to comeback.

Listened to the podcast with John and Simmons last night. A lot of interesting takeaways.

Of course, Simmons took his side and essentially praised him the entire night.

BS compared John to Jordan with six titles, with his latest victory compared to 98 Finals when the Bulls beat the Jazz BS then compared Wes to Barkley and CT to Shaq. Pretty funny stuff.

They both have a similar dislike for AYTO and Simmons wants to get some of the vets back. As it was mentioned above, John said Derrick could come back, but for the most part, the vets have moved on with their lives...except Mark, who BS said is part of the Senior Tour

The most interesting part of the convo was John's future. Hinted like he may be done. Said he doesn't really have anything to prove and realizes everyone will be gunning for him, including production. It would be good TV.

Surprised he said this, but John admitted he plays the game like a TV producer. He said he figured the following story arc would be good TV: Put on a front like he hated Sarah from the beginning, make amends toward the end and win the title. He claims no one knew about the twist. So the twist, in his eyes, was another layer to the story, and it was another chance for him to make a TV moment.

Sounds like he wants his own show or a spinoff or something. Not sure if that happens

Production gunning for him? They arrange the teams and cast for him to win every year. If he gets eliminated they just have him go to redemption island and come right back. He sucks and I hope he dies soon from roids side effects.

yeah the production comment made me roll my eyes. I do think other people in the house would start throwing him in more

Production might see he is the only one that generates interest if it's more AYTO people nobody cares about. Then they could potentially stack the alliances against him by not having enough veterans in his corner. This would make him actually compete in eliminations which he is a huge pussy about and thinks it's unfair to do. Like when Wes was on top back in the day and then went home first challenge the next year. He doesn't wanna look weak and maybe this is his way to go out on top.

I'd like to see a road rules style challenge where they travel to missions like they used to.

Just finished watching, I personally think Bananas taking all the money is fake bullshite. MTV had him do that to "create drama" and set him up as a villian, Sarah still got paid

Inferno 2 is probably my favorite of all time. Both Duels were great as well along with the first Inferno.

I just dont believe these people are that good of actors. Sarah went nuts at the after show. If she still got paid I doubt she acts like a loon.

I watch this casually in the room with my wife. By that I read or TD.com when it's on. So I kinda know what's happening.

We watched the finale just now. Holy shite. Bananas just cemented himself as GOAT villain.

Hans Gruber wishes he was that cold.
