So what I gathered is he was expected to get the VP nod but now it’s Head popper. Definitely part of the transactional deal.
About that scene which I thought was dull especially compared to the rest of the episode. Not only was the death boring but HL sends Deep and that guy just so happens to get in the pool when he’s killed. And they still couldn’t make it more interesting?
Also what’s up with Ashley’s hair? And have I just missed Starlight’s car before?

I thought they set that up well enough with Butcher rejecting Ryan and lashing out over him accidentally killing his mom. That was his only father figure. Then HL arrived and fully accepted him and told him he loved him regardless and always would.

She's definitely going to be president if she wins VP. Something unfortunate will happen to the President and there she is.

That’s my point. They put the guy in the pool for him and all he could do was drown him? But now that I think about it it makes sense. They didn’t want his death to look suspicious so they could call it accidental.

Aside from the head popper being a soMewhat attractive ethnic looking woman. What makes her an AOC clone?
Has she been spouting a bunch of crazy policies throughout the show that I haven’t noticed? The only thing I remember is her trying to form an agency that holds supes reliable.
She obviously has darker alternative motives it seems but I really don’t see anything besides her looks that makes me think they are pretending she is AOC

Regardless of whether she’s an AOC clone, she’s a Democrat. The presidential candidate (Vought donated to his campaign too) who picked her as his running mate was mentioned as a Democrat I think
