I had a problem with that scene. Seemed like they just let Santo get all shot up, even though by that time you had Boba, Mando, the Power Rangers and the Freetown people back there to give him some cover fire.

IMO the bigger problem w/that scene is he's all shot up and limping but two seconds later he's hauling arse from the giant robots that cant shoot straight.

This series was worth watching just for the Luke-Grogu-Mando scenes alone. Otherwise it was pretty arse. No longer give a shite about Boba anymore, and the actor that plays him sucks.

based on his fight scene, Wookies are resilient. I know, sounds silly and simplistic...

but he's tough, and has a survival instinct. And now, there's a 2 story robot trying to shoot him- it's time to move.

True but it still looked silly for him to look like he was going to have to crawl away from the fight to survive only to get up sprint down the street a couple seconds later. Of course that could have been avoided had he not decided to walk down the middle of the street like a crazy arse.

It kind of reminded me of how RR had all of Antonio Banderas' mariachi baws standing in the middle of the street in Desperado when they were fighting the gang. This of course is what let to them all getting killed in less than 5 minutes of screen time. Why does everyone always stand out in the open to shoot guns at each other in his stuff?

Just finished #7.

What was that, “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid meets King Kong”?

The scene where Mando and Boba are getting beat down, it looked like the end scene we didn’t see in Butch Cassidy. Plus, the giant lizard thing was a complete ripoff of the giant monster movies of King Kong and Godzilla vs whoever.
When it climbed the tower, I was waiting for a couple bi-planes to come attack it.

Gonna break my own moratorium on commenting on things I've not seen.

This is a pile of Bantha mess. The corny clips I've seen and descriptions I've read, how anyone can mistake this for 'Star Wars' is beyond me.

Those who like this are fooling themselves. They want to be lied to, nothing more.

I'm with the folks who think that the flashback narrative will be used for subsequent reveals on Bane's history with Fett.

Assuming of course that they do more BoBF seasons.

That's just stupid. While it does have its flaws, there were moments & whole episodes that were more 'Star Wars' than the Star Wars prequls & sequels.

The pastel-colored hover vespa 'gang', the twirly spin and fire maneuver, Boba Fett being told what to, not shooting folks first... it's discount story telling.

But hey, knock yourself out.

You described a total of about 45 mins of Jar-Jar-ness in the almost 7 hour series. But keep breaking your moratorium on commenting on things you've not seen.

Jar-Jar-ness. Exactly!

Like the prequels were anything to hang your hat on.

3 posts in 48 pages will suffice.

Maybe that's why they tried to tie up all the storylines and killed off all the bad guys at the end. Maybe they didn't want to leave off on a cliffhanger with uncertainty on if there would even be a BOBF season 2.

More Star Wars content the better but I wish they made Boba Fett the center of action. He is very ambivalent about everything.

After all the galaxy he has been through and dicey situations he has likely been in why doesn't he know of some better crew for hire to bring in? Why does he even want to be "Danyo" if he doesn't have any intent to build any force to leverage the populace? Why aren't we seeing him impose any will or plan of action?

I found it sort of goofy they all decided to group up instead of breaking off and going back to a fortified location like Jaba's place where the friggin rancor lived. Also how does the wookie, mando, and bobba get shot a million times and it never misses their plates or seperate pieces of armor. The wookie got hit in the leg once. Why did every other shot bounce off his bandoliers?

yeah, I don't know if I buy Boba as a benevolent daimyo. He probably did so much shady shite in the past as a bounty hunter. Can't just see him flipping the script and being like we need to protect everyone...and I don't need money.

This show needs to hire the fight coordinator from Peacemaker.

I actually liked this series but my biggest complaint was it just felt too Disney at times. The hipster street gang mods are the biggest example of that to me.

1) I don't understand how a person can be so pale living on a planet with two suns.
2) The idea that two massive attack droids could be smuggled into and hidden in a densely populated city tells me that the people on the street have no respect for Fett, he doesn't pay enough for info, or I'm just too selfish to want the series to have a little logic.

The Book doesn't have to a Sci-fi version of Goodfellas or The Sopranos, but it would be a lot better if it was.

I think the underlying problem is that Lucasfilm knew how popular Boba was and tried to turn him into a respected good guy/warrior-hero which basically emasculated him from doing anything dishonorable. I think they Greedo-shot-first'd him.

He used to be a great mystery, but still a villain. We like great villains: Vader, Maul, Palpatine, Bane, Thrawn, etc. We also love anti-heroes: Han, Lando, Mando, etc. Yet this Boba was neither. This is where the complaints, confusion & questions rise.

Ultimately, I'm cool with it, as when I was a kid, I too changed him & made the Boba toy kind of an Iron-man superhero. But I understand why this Boba may not be the Boba many expected or accept.
