Has anybody heard of this? Looks like it might be the scariest movie I've ever seen. When is this movie coming out? Trailer

Early reviews have said its about on par with The Exorcist and The Shining. Buzz is extremely good. Looks like something that won't get released in theaters though, at least not a wide release.

I've seen that it gets released on DirectTV pay per view on October 31st? Just seems weird considering the success of Horror movies like The Conjuring and Annabelle that they wouldn't release this in theaters.

I remember posting about it sometimes earlier this year after it debuted at Cannes. Scared the shite out of me then, still scares me now. Looking forward to actually getting to watch more than the trailer.

Have you seen the short film that inspired it? LINK There are some comedy elements to it, but still scary nonetheless.

I watched The Strangers today since Halloween is around the corner.

I finally watched it. It was good. There were some things in it I thought were great. It was very scary, but not necessarily for the reasons I thought it would be. That's the best I can do without giving spoilers.
