That score tells me nothing except for an army of people got together to downvote it that didn't even watch it. Just like this thread has 1400 posts from mostly people that didn't watch.
The show could very well be that bad, or maybe it isn't. The 14% rating doesn't tell me anything when the score from verified watchers is above 80%

If being miserable over a star wars TV show is Winning I'd rather take the L.
There are plenty of people that refuse to ever rewatch game of thrones because they didn't like the ending. I enjoy watching the show every now and then. To me it seems like that means I'm the one winning.
You should never get to the point where a new show in the thing you are a fan of makes you miserable or upset. You can go about your life and carry on exactly as it was before the Acolyte ever existed.
