There are lots of ways to write a show about LESBIANS... IN... SPAAACE, and have it be entertaining. The Acolyte chose to go the the opposite route of all of those.
The lesbian space witches was the least of episode 3s problems. The biggest issue was that it was just boring. I could never imagine a star was show with a Wookie Jedi could possibly be boring, but I guess Headland is more creative than me.

There is a reason they don’t want how they were created known by the Jedi. If I had to guess, Its probably related to the Sith. It is unnatural, uncommon.

That’s not what they mean. All that means is independent. Women and men need to be able to take care of themselves.
You do need to teach kids how to live when they are alone. That doesn’t mean they are teaching them that they need to be alone.
