I bet that sounded funny in your head.

Anyways... good movie. Liked the first one better, but this one was good as well.

This is a weird phenomena (/s) outside Louisiana but most public libraries get new copies of DvDs and Blu Rays...it's not abnormal in most decent size cities.

Get the Libby app and a Library card and you can download tons of books and audiobooks for free. You get them for two week periods. No reason to pay for them.

Was a fun rampage movie.

They're going to run out of ways for Affleck to "accountant" his way into leads.

Just saw it, good popcorn movie. A lot more comedy than the first one, I was cool with that though. Most of the comic bits were pretty funny, but it wasn’t too much and it still allowed the movie to be serious overall.

I just saw the first one over the weekend, liked it a lot so saw the new one today. I like 2 better, both good movies but I liked the plot of 2 more and I enjoyed the added comedy. I didn’t see the twist coming at all either.

The second film is basically Rain Man masquerading as an action film.

The best parts of the movie and Bernthal playing Tom Cruise and Affleck playing Dustin Hoffman.

It was pretty clear that as a major influence on this one.

I think they were using the kids to get the parents to do what they want. That’s why one of the hookers said “I don’t have any kids.”

They tell the parents do what we say or we kill your kids.

Now it's on TV like 397 times a week. I haven't gotten tired seeing the trailer for the sequel, though the second trailer reveals a bit more while including a lot of the same content from the first one.

Yeah I usually leave it on when its on TV.

I'll see the second!

Yes, the kids were leverage.

What I missed, apparently, was something that gave Chris the idea that the boy was autistic? He'd only seen the picture, right?

Only thing I can think of, in the picture there are kids playing in the background but the boy is by himself gripping the fence and not looking at the camera.

Fun movie, but I was expecting more. I liked the first one a lot more.

Movie was okay. The story in the first was much tighter and coherent.

Went and saw the first one with my CPA firm. That's not how auditing works, and I question if he even follows Gaas.

I can register for a library in Tennessee from TX (pick a rando address), but in Fort Bend County I have to show up every year to show proof of address to renew this crap. They pulled this during COVID panic.

Everyone else here steals media, you might as well go to Tech and search for IPTV.

If you're relying on the library system to watch recently released movies, something has gone askew in your life. There are no 99 cent theaters anymore, but come on. Almost nothing that has come out in the last ten years is worth paying $20 to buy a DVD for anyway. You're better off watching reruns of Stripes. There are plenty of data scraping services like pluto TV that give you garbage content for free to learn everything about your household. Use the, if that's your perogative.

I have a Ft Bend library card too and use the Hoopla app. It’s great for audiobooks and ebooks. It has movies too but I have never tried it.

When we are going on family trips, we absolutely borrow movies from the library for the car DVD players so the kids have stuff to watch. Libraries are underrated for media.

Just got out of it. I liked it, but the plot seemed choppy. I had a hard time following the story in some parts. Like enough explanation wasn’t given. Had to go on Reddit to answer questions I had.

I didn’t see how calling the hookers to the hotel enabled them to find the bad guy….I mean, it’s L.A. with multiple hookers and multiple bad guys….how did they just happen to find the one who could help them find what they needed.
