Terminator Dark Fate Is Not Good (Possible Spoilers)

Theres a event that takes place at the beginning that is so awful that it completely makes everything John, Sarah, and Kyle did moot. The rest of the movie is pretty mediocre outside of Linda Hamilton and Arnie. The CG is alright and the new terminator or I guess enhanced human Grace is fine she's basically a repeat of Kyle. The other girl is basically John without any of things that made T2 John great. She's a pretty bland character.
This movies is pretty much like Force Awakens but at least Force Awakens didn't kill the originals and Rey is somewhat interesting. I'm still really pissed about the beginning of this movie

I don't care, wasn't going to see the movie anyways unless it pops up on Netflix one day in the future.

This turd has been warmed over 2-3 times already. Kill Kyle. Kill John. Kill Sarah. Kill Arnold. Who cares at this point? They'll do some time travel bullshite to reboot in 5 years and it won't matter.

It's one of those fake sequels that's actually a reboot.
Hollywood's brilliant idea is to kill off all the old characters and introduce new, younger characters.
Only problem is that philosophy doesn't work and just pisses everyone off.

T2 John was a very good character. You first see a little troublemaker. Then you realize and feel bad for him not knowing his father, growing up without one and its impact. And then he bonds to Arnold and only to lose him at the end. How can you not cry or come close to it?
And T2 John was a smart kid. I remember him putting 2+2 together and realizing Arnold = Terminator after the mall shootout and chase scene. Idiot teenagers that Hollywood writes now are so stupid and unlikeable.
With this new Terminator movie, it’s all about money and not the art. I was watching a YouTube video the other day and it said that this movie is a test trial and if it makes money, there will be 2 more that will follow. Isn’t that nice.

I just read the synopsis of the movie... I'll give this a hard pass - and that's coming from someone who actually enjoyed Rise of the Machines, Salvation, and actually didn't "hate" genisys, I didn't really like it that much, but I didn't hate it.

Why is it that every film franchise/reboot has to have a female as the savior? Star Wars the last Jedi is now Rey, not Luke. John Connor is no longer the savior of humans in the Terminator universe, it is the chick.

I don't care about that stuff, we still have our male Heroes (John Wick, Deadpool, Thor, Starlord, Dwayne Johnson, etc.), even moreso on Terminator and Star Wars - you are talking about 2 struggling (ish? for SW... I mean, nobody wanted to make episode 7 after the prequels, but Terminator has been super DOA) franchises at the time. I just view the "change to a female character" as a way of telling a different story, without changing the concept a whole lot. It allows for "change" in the story, without rocking the boat a lot.
The super cringe part of your comment though - this is Terminator we are talking about, a female has been the "hero" for a super long time... Sarah Connor
