No spoilers; but, I’m finding it pretty entertaining. Anyone else checking it out?

Appreciate whatever inside joke is going on here; but, it’s well written and among the better situational comedies I’ve seen in a while. A bit of coming of age and dystopian 90’s. Hits Gen X kids right in the feels.

I think that Peacock is great and that everyone should pay whatever they ask for it. The good news is that Peacock is the best thing going, and the best news is that if you act right now and order Peacock you can catch the thrilling second half of the big American Football game!!

I watched the entire thing. I guess that means it kept my interest.

I think it was a little too much of the banter back and forth with the kid and Ted, but there were always a few things I chucked at each episode. There are worse things on streaming services.

And, of course, there is the voice of our current era in there as the cousin and her “friend,” which is a tad anachronistic for ‘93-‘94.

All I can think of is that The Orville died for this shite.

I watched episode 1 after the game and I was pleasantly surprised.

How it balances political incorrectness with humor and heart is pretty damn great for a tv show about a talking bear.

As opposed to the talking teddy bear, which is straight out of the early 90s

The Orville took itself out. It went from humorous sci fi with good storytelling to regular sci fi with bad storytelling.

4 episodes in and I am enjoying it. It is an interesting amalgam of old family sitcoms from All in the Family to Married With Children with the addition of a talking teddy.
