Rebecca has been especially unlikeable this season. Maybe I’m in the minority though.

I mean, every storyline with her since Season 1 is a waste of time.
Last season I’m pretty sure Rebecca’s mom had more screen time than Jamie Tartt.
I understand the point the writers are trying to make where everyone struggles with something no matter who you are, but the constant dive into her emotions every episode since season 2 is just so unnecessary.
Also, she would probably sell every player and coach on the team in a heartbeat if it meant she could beat Rupert. That is just not an endearing character at all.

This last episode was the worst of the series IMHO. The writing is all over the place. Roy, Jamie, and the players have all largely been sidelined this season so that we can spend a ton of time on Keely and her co-workers, which makes no sense. The Shandy scenes have eaten up way too much time.
I didn't realize this, but Bill Lawrence left the show this season and turned over show runner responsibilities to Sudeikis. Seems like the impact of this can actually be felt as this season has long, disjointed episodes. Hopefully they turn it around and start to pull things together.

They did kinda hint at Keeley being attracted to Rebecca IIRC
Which if you have to have a lesbian scene, for the love at least include Rebecca.

They did more than hint. There were entire dialogs in "Make Rebecca Great Again" where Keeley was straight out taking Rebecca's temperature on the possibility.
It was also in this episode where Sassy mentions that when Rebecca moved to her town, she was "rich". So while yes, she likely became significantly more wealthy with the settlement, she also had money to start.
As for not being shown to be great at their jobs, you can literally add in every character, except for possibly Nate and a few of the players, as the show has never really bothered to show the characters doing much with their actual job, even Lasso. It wasn't like Richmond was doing much with Rupert at the helm either.
I do think there is a place the show is going with spending time on Keeley's business mistakes. I am guessing it will almost certainly lead to her losing the business and having to start over without the VC help.

they are trying to appeal more to the female audience

didnt know that lawrence had left, that explains a lot. he is still listed as a writer on all of the episodes this season
lawrence kept Scrubs pretty fresh for 9 seasons, Ted Lasso has grown kind of stale

Agreed...worst episode.
The most enjoyable parts of this show was the player growth & interactions in the locker room, field and even Higgins’ home on Christmas.
That has been replaced by the drama in Keely’s office.
It doesn’t help that her friend is horrible & made no sense in the cast but drew a lot of screen time.
Oh and Nate can still eat a dick. He needs to be punched at least once

This is a weird episode. Does good with refocusing on interactions and such but it’s just so disjointed

The best part of this episode was Jamie and Roy touring Amsterdam. Everything else was meh. Thankfully they kept the Keeley and Jack stuff in Norway.

Jamie and Roy was good. Glad Ted finally did something good soccer related. The rest I just didn’t care about at all.

I enjoyed the Zava poster and Roy kicking the shite out of it

So Rebecca fricked that guy and got pregnant right?

In enjoyed that episode. Not the best of the season, but better than the one last week.

It was a fun episode that moved the characters along in there stories. I liked it.

It was a dud glass of tea for me.
So Rebecca essentially got date-raped.
Everybody on the team is gay or plain weird.
Lasso has lost the spirit that made it a cult classic and now it’s just another cultish Apple product.
That said, I’ll watch it to the end just see if they ever win another game.

Is that what he implied that he slept with the Rebecca?
I didn’t think he did, and thought he was a huge pussy for not hooking up while they were dancing.

So Trent is gay too? How many more?

I think he said “yes we did” as in had a great night or something
If he did do that, the only way the story continues is if Rebecca gets pregnant. Which seems a bit dark for this show

That’s correct. The guy was saying yes we did meaning the night they had together was enough.

how many more is enough for it to be a problem for you?
