Taboo - Steven Knight - Opinion

Anyone else watch Taboo? After Peaky Blinders, I definitely wanted to see what Steven Knight could do with Tom Hardy after seeing his masterpiece with Alfie Solomon. Only on episode 4/5, but it seems to be starting extremely slow. Masterfully done though, definitely dark. Does it pick up?

Its really good. It can get a little slow at times but don't give up on it. You will not be disappointed. Good cast and writing. Tom Hardy is a good choice for Delaney. Jonathan Pryce is outstanding.

It’s a solid B show. Not a top tier but like others have said, much better than most of the crap on tv

Then you're more than halfway through (8 episodes). I liked it a lot-just don't get too emotionally involved in any of the characters....

it does pick up. last 2 episodes are very very tense, but it's a slow burn to get there.

Yah, it's best with captions on. I think I enjoyed it more than most on here.
