Did SNL move from NBC to HBO/Showtime/Max?

because said show did a mean skit about trump?

People stopped watching before Trump for President became a thing. They stopped because the "comedians" that work on the show are not funny. You can catch the best clips on YT throughout the week and spend 2-3 minutes instead of 90 minutes.

Not me. SNL had a great run from about 2010-2015. Most of the good cast had left by around 2015-2016, and the writing was noticeably worse. Add TDS into the equation and the show became a dumpster fire.

The reason the Gillis episode did so well is because he was the funniest guy on the set.

It’s bad when a stand up comedian is better at sketch comedy than sketch comedians.

I'm probably the only one who thinks the blonde chick is a buttaface. she looks decent here, but most in most pics her face is very middling. at best.

She's a great example of a Seinfeld two-face.

This.

At times, her face looks really pretty. At other times, not so much. She looks better with glasses and as a brunette.

I'm no Sydney simp. Haven't seen Euphoria, or her Rom-Com flick. But from what I have seen, she seems fun. And happy. She doesn't come off as a hella biotch or give off this attitude "how DARE you admire my breasts!". She owns it, and is having fun.

Let it continue. Scarlett Johansson was like this too, early on. But as she got older, and wanted to be taken more 'seriously'... I think people got to her, and shamed her into this 'me too' crap. Hope that doesn't happen.

But it seems some of you think even the slightest reference to a social issue is “woke”.

He's responding to a previous post by you in the thread....where you literally used the word "woke" four times (one in a quote and three by you).

From 3 days ago??
Where I specifically stated not everything that’s trash is ‘woke’.

That should have sufficed but I guess not!

Weird.

This episode was terrible. Just bad writing all around. The air bud sketch was probably the funniest one, and it was pretty mid on a good concept.

The Gillis episode was meh, too, but it was a lot better than this one.

I stated quite the opposite.

I repeat…

“Everything woke is trash, but not all that's trash is woke.

Some things are simply bad all on their own. They don't need any 'agenda'.“

So not literally everything. Snowflake.

My list would be sorta similar. Nate was definitely my number 2 episode because Adam Driver cracks me up on SNL. His absolute commitment to every bit while always having his lines fully memorized just shows his range.

I would have ranked Emma Stone’s episode higher too, personally, but not in the top 4.
