Perhaps. If that's reversed and Xander beats Deshawn (or Ricard) at making fire then he wins it all.
I don't see Erika having much chance unless it's 100% an "a female needs to win" vote and I don't see Naseer, Danny, or Deshawn (if he's on the jury) going that way, or Tiffany really.
Heather probably won't get a vote no matter the final 3.

That’s completely underwhelming. Xander played the best game imo, and erika was completely useless the entire premerge. Hell she’s the luckiest player in survivor history because of the hourglass bullshite. fricking stupid, genuinely don’t think I’ve been pissed about a winner before but I am now

I just don’t get Xander not getting a single vote. Erika played a better game than I realized, and sold it really well, but not a single vote for Xander? Makes no sense.

I think Naseer voted Deshawn. Xander probably didn’t get any votes bc he was everyone’s second choice.

I blame the editors. They chose to tell us about her game rather than show us. The players knew she was playing well and talked about it, but we were never really shown.

Xander went from the bottom rung in the worst tribe to entering the finals with momentum. When he said that he didn’t want to give Erika a chance to win the fire challenge and take away his momentum, the jury nodded and said “smart.” I have to believe that members of the jury thought that everyone would vote for Xander so they’d throw a vote Erika’s way so she didn’t get skunked.
The only other time I felt like the jury blew it was when they voted for worthless Jenna Morasca. Not even Naseer voted for Xander.

For sure. It kinda reminds me of the first season Sandra won.
It also seemed like the jury penalized Xander for lacking social awareness. Since when is that an aspect of this game? He certainly wasn’t socially clueless because he never played his hidden immunity idol. A socially clueless player would have played soon after the merge.

I think that is the key. I am of the opinion that the winner of Survivor is ALWAYS the rightful winner. They are not vying for my vote they are working for a majority of votes from a very specific small group of people. I see them via an edit for 1 hour a week, the votes that count live with them for weeks and see so much that we don't.
I would have voted for Xander but he has a way of explaining his actions that seems both over and under confident at the same time. I did like his thought process about the fire making challenge but it really needed to be Erika and him in it for him to have a chance in retrospect.
In the end, Erika convinced the jury she lead from behind and she probably did, they know better than me. Xander did have a habit of saying more than he needed to throughout the game. Not my choice but I think Erika deserved it once the juries mentality was clear.
