They haven't done a Sunday finale in a few seasons. I would guess it's because Sunday is a big time slot, and Survivor probably isn't pulling the ratings enough to take that slot for the finale.
Going back to voting Sunday out; it is almost like the show has come full circle. Before, people were voting out the strongest because they didn't want to compete with them in the end. So, they would take the weak to the final. Now, they assumed Sunday would go far because she is weak, so they vote her out. It was a very strange move.

I was really hoping Adam wouldn't go for the sympathy vote, but there it was as the final appeal on the final question. I thought he could have won on his own merits - he played the most strategic game of the final 3. I thought it would be close between him and Ken. Ken seemed dumb as a rock and made a couple dumbass moves, but winning 4 challenges says a lot. Hannah was a coat tail rider who overestimated her own game.

Ken's demise appears to be he played zero social game... I think Ken would have even lost to Bret, who was as worthless as a tic throughout but apparently played a decent social game. Zeke, Chris, and Bret barely even acknowledged Ken during questioning.
