Wasn't it Dee who approached him? Without her wanting to make a move, he would have been dead in the water.

Anyone who can win over Colby and Cirie despite negative first impressions and get Cirie to give up crucial info (that she has an extra vote) is a great player in my mind.

Colby and Cirie thought at first that Rizo was going to be an annoying young kid and he won them over quickly. That shows a great social game.

I'm a week behind. too much other stuff going on.

And again, she can't stop herself from talking. As soon as she finds out any bit of information, she runs to tell someone.

I was hoping for a Rizo blindside. But, I agree Kamila sees through his BS but, she's playing the long game. Now, he will be focused on the people who wrote his name down.

Survivor hates great racks. Sad to see Angelina go. At least she left with grace and gave them her jacket.

Jeff's Christian imitation.

Wish Tina's daughter would have done another season.

He is a good mid game player, that’s all. Last season he got by with having an idol. He doesn’t have that, he would’ve left earlier and wouldn’t be in this season. Sometimes luck has more of a say than ability.

Having an idol puts a target on your back, yet he made it known and worked it tribal after tribal after tribal without ever playing it. That’s not luck - that’s solid gameplay.

Think about what you just said. Now, take away the idol. He would’ve been sent packing. Hard to get someone out with an idol, his gameplay had zero to do with it. Look, I get it, you like retarzo. You do you.

As for me, he’s nothing more than retarded cannon fodder.

Let’s enjoy tonight’s episode

But he did have the idol. It is part of the game. I don't like Rizo either, but I won't downplay his impressive run of whatever tribals in a row without playing the idol.

What he did is more impressive than if he happened to find 2-3 idols and kept playing them while getting votes. He had to do all of the following:

1. Build and keep a solid alliance that wouldn't turn on him just to get the idol out
2. Manipulate people multiple times to not vote for him by threatening to use the idol.
3. Have the balls to stick with the plan to not play it.

In other words, he was never a threat to win. Got it.

If Rizo beat Savannah in the fire making challenge, he would've won. So, he was a threat.

Savannah shared the story of Rizo’s season/idol play with her S50 tribe. Put him in a tough spot.

Not sure we watched the same show.. he was probably the biggest threat to win. Him or Savannah.

Lame way for Colby to get voted out. Didn't mind Kamilla or Genevieve being voted out. Will continue watching for Ozzy, Jonathan and to some extent Christian. The rest of the players don't interest me at all

I missed the whole first part thanks to Trump.. it picked up right after the challenge.

Kamila was a snart target.. no string feelings for Genevieve.. sucks for Colby.. hate to see him leave while people like Emily and Tiffany are still in.

If if and buts were candy and nuts, it would be Christmas everyday.

Yet he didn’t beat her. I will definitely agree that he would’ve won over the other sheep they brought to final tribal. Thank goodness Rizztard sucks at making fire

I agree. I’m wondering why they didn’t go for Coach, Colby would’ve more than likely been medevac’d out.

Maybe they thought Colby was the bigger threat to organize and maintain an alliance. Coach doesn’t have the same level of social game and can get emotional. Lots of players would love to work with Colby.

I think it’s interesting how Dee and Cirie are working together now. Dee talked about a friend who warned her to get Cirie out asap but here we are. I think they’re working towards a showdown between the two.

I don’t think he would’ve been able to keep going physically. Healthy, Colby is definitely the bigger threat. It just seems they wasted a vote getting Colby out when he wouldn’t be able to stay in the game. Next episode should be interesting.

I agree it was a wasted vote since he’s not a physical threat at this point. He’s also easy to root for.

I kind of think this was the producers organizing Kolby's exit through the game instead of him tapping out for a medical issue to save face.
He got an inordinate amount of soapbox time during tribal which tells me everyone knew he was headed out, and I don't just mean the players.
