Feel like she’s on a Cassidy path right now. Tough, wins immunity challenges, but no real strategizing to date. She needs to get Danny out of her way to play her own game.

The only feeling I have is Carolyn is getting the Xander edit and I don’t think anybody has a high opinion of her. I could see a zero vote finalist.
Edit: maybe not the Xander edit by production, but the Xander treatment by the players.

the kane vote was just "the easy vote". As soon as Danny lost immunity, it was time to vote him out. But, I'm glad they didn't. Frannie now has 2 immunity wins, she's someone to keep an eye on.
yam yam is just annoying af. i don't get why the rest keep voting his way.
carolyn is both annoying and entertaining. she seems to be playing a good game.
the rest just seem interchangeable.

I feel like a Yam Yam blindside is coming soon.
Carson is my dark horse pick right now. He seems to get along with everyone and could be a challenge threat onces puzzles are back involved.

I wasn't a fan of Omar, Ricard, or Jesse. I was glad none of them won. Ricard and Jesse drove me way more nuts than Carolyn and Yam Yam.

I couldn't stand him at first. I thought I would quickly get tired of his over the top personality. As the season has gone on, he has really grown on me. He is great in the interviews.

Sorry to see Frannie go. She should have talked more about how Danny was always a close second in those challenges and he’ll be the next big threat if she goes home.
And poor Carolyn - invited the other moms on the emotional reward excursion and they all just lie to her about the vote with the exception of Frannie who voted for Heidi.

Disappointed frannie is out. At this point i don’t really have a favorite. Maybe Carson?
Danny seems like the biggest threat but, he somehow avoids being targeted.
Yam yam’s social game has been keeping him in the game.
Crazy carolyn seems to be in a good place but if her crazy explodes next week she may eliminate herself.
Heidi/lauren/jamie will likely get carried to the end

Jaime is a goat to be led to the slaughter at this point. She is oblivious to the game around her.

When episode 1 started and they gave her that instant awful and crazy (but probably deserved and accurate) edit, I told my wife that it may be intentional. And if she survives the first few weeks, then she may inexplicably win the whole season.
I can certainly see it happening, especially at this point with how things are shaping up.

She needs to lead the crusade against Danny next week. Either make amends with Carson and Yam Yam or get Jamie, Lauren, and Heidi aligned with her. I’m not sure Carson and YamYam burning Carolyn on this vote was the move. The should’ve voted Danny or Heidi.
Edit: Also agreed on Danny. Dude plays his idol for Franny then spends two episodes trying to vote her out. Wtf.

The “new era of Survivor” is becoming tiring. Loyalty has completely disappeared. Promises don’t last 24 hours.
I know they all justify it with “it’s a game I came to win” but at this point trusting anyone is impossible. It makes for pretty boring TV IMO.
I’ve watched every season, but this may be the last.

Probst talked about this in the podcast this week and others previously. He said that seeing an alliance of 4 pick off an alliance of 3 makes for boring TV.
That’s why they introduced the advantages - to make the 4 have to consider whether someone in the 3 has some advantage. I like some aspects of it but it’s also frustrating in other ways.
I’m just hoping they bring Carolyn to the Finals as the “clueless coattail rider” but her connections and story earn her the win.
