frick I hate james gunn
Cavill, you are the goat
Well that’s how Superman looks in the comics. If you have a problem with that, then just go rewatch Snyder’s abominations that not only frick everything up but he seemingly actively despises the character of Superman.

Feel like there is a mismatch between the tone, the music and what was on the screen. Just a weird teaser honestly.
It's not Gardner's hair - that costume looked terrible.
CGI was bad - they need some time on it.
Krypton was fine. Nothing wrong with that.

yes, yes I will thank you in glorious 4K.
This will not perform with GA's, it looks absolutely terrible.
we go from Maximus Decimus Meridius, Henry Cavill, and Kevin Costner to some fat guy from walking dead and jet black dyed hair, no muscle clownman

Everyone knows who Superman is, dude. Sorry he’s not supposed to be that gritty of a character and is supposed to represent the best of humanity, not some emo egotistical a-hole that goes out and actively ruins people’s lives.
Sorry, he’s just terrible in the DCEU even if Cavill is otherwise a perfectly cast Superman, and an actual Lex Luthor (not the Riddler/Mark Zuckerberg bullshite we got) would have a major point in that universe that Superman needs to be destroyed.

The dog seems a little campy to me.
The suit does seem a little baggy but I guess we are used to the previous movie versions that were skin tight.
I hope he didn't overload the film with too much going on, too many characters, etc.
I have never been a huge superman fan but I do hope this movie does well.

1) he fricked up the truck of a womanizing alcoholic -- that is a realistic take on Superman. you're reaching if your argument is he is a bad person because of that one scene.
2) Snyder fricked up the Luthor casting and I said that at the time. He got too cute living in the moment and applying what we thought of as a societal norm with these young tech giants to that character. I thought Cranston would've been great in that role, though.
3) studio interference was the problem with Superman the first go around, not the realistic take. If he had been given Man of Steel 2 to flesh out the All American good guy themes, it would've gone much differently.
there was also a concerted effort to shite on anything DC because Marvel basically owned the entire access media like the democrats do. The studio panicked and ruined the universe by rushing it

No that is not. Superman would give that guy the benefit of the doubt that he was just having a bad day and not take it personally. He on the other hand just fricked up that dude’s entire life. What if he has like four kids that he has to feed?

I was always partial to Billy Zane being Luthor, who if I didn’t know this was Billy Zane, I’d assume he’d be the real life Lex Luthor:

No the very core of it was fricked. The only good decision Snyder made was casting Henry Cavill as Superman.

We have seen repeatedly that Snyder is kind of a complete idiot. He is 100% style over substance and routinely never understands the things he is working on.

I really like it. We see more of Clark/Supes with Lois in this trailer than we have since the Reeve movies. That is an important piece of Superman’s story.
Also it just looks fun and combines elements of MOS and Superman returns that we didn’t get in the actual movies.
After all this is based on a comic book. It’s ok for a movie to not feel realistic .
I did love Henry as Superman but it was the right move to start from scratch as the DCEU was a convoluted mess.

That was really the only glaring issue for me. The clips were too disjointed to understand any story so we are relegated (at least for now) to visuals and Guy's costume and hair stand out like a sore thumb (and have done so in all the stills leaked/released).
Darken the hair a good bit more, swap all of the green and white on his costume (except for the belt buckle) and put the GLC emblem somewhere on the jacket (front, back or both). If the jacket is going to be open, then put the emblem on the shirt (and make it about as large as Superman's logo).

Sorta agree with you but that scene paid homage to Superman II, you know, where Supes went to the diner at the end strictly for revenge.

Brainiac maybe? Alan Tudyk has been cast in an undisclosed role, and he’d be perfect casting for the character.

Looks like WAY to many moving parts and characters
Reeks of studio interference

Supes stuff looks alright.

So who/what is the Brocken robot Supes is kneeling over around the 1:51 mark?
So in comic book lore, Superman is a super genius and designs security robots and companions, and things of that nature around the fortress of solitude. In fact, Superman is known to be Batman’s mechanic for a lot of his gadgets that’s never been shown in movies before so that’s kind of cool.
