Another great day
Still a ways to go to break even

Industry sources suggest the film only begins to turn a profit with box office earnings of $500 million or more, and would need $700 million+ worldwide to be considered a major hit, once marketing and distribution splits are taken into account

It'll be over 500 by the end of the weekend

So no longer here from the future? That's the entire character. He's an average guy from the future using future technology to make himself look superpowered. ETA: Maybe they're just not being clear. The way it's written, he could be from Gotham in the future, and came back in time to save Reagan's life. Just think it's an important bit to leave out.
No Gunn confirmed the time traveling when he announced Gods and Monsters
It’s in this video

Relentless?
I do not think that word means what you think it means.
Haven’t posted there in 3 weeks, averaging less than 4 posts a month.

I’m excited for The Lantern series and more Guy Gardner. Fillion did great.

Took my kids to see it yesterday. My daughter enjoyed it. Me and my son thought it was just ok. I didn't wait for the end credit scene. I was ready to get out of there.

Me and my son felt the same. Overall just okay. They went to the super dog well way too many times imo

Saw this last night. Admittedly, I have never been a huge superman fan. I thought it was OK. Could have waited for it on streaming.
I guess Jimmy Olsen is a player now?
The whole plot of Lex working with the small country's leader so they could invade the other country was silly. Lex did all of that in order to get half of the land? I know they said there were oil reserves or something there but still... He has the technology to create metahumans, clone Superman, and travel to and inhabit pocket universes. Seems like his interests would be above that.

No he did it so he’d have a justification to kill Superman. He gives a speech about it

yes, you are correct. I recall that.

Movie ok for a 7 year old? He's very mature and doesn't get scared by movies usually, but didn't know about curse words/gratuitous violence/etc.

Happy to note that Superman does not break anyone's neck nor does he stand by and watch his father's suicide.
Perfect viewing for your son.

Pretty consistent non-F-bomb language throughout the movie, a few passionate intimate scenes, normal superhero movie violence.

OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE/VULGARITIES: There is more here than in any previous “Superman” movie. The curse words include: *ss (3), A**hole, J*ck*ss (1), H*ll (6), D*mn (2), Sh*t (10), B*tch (2), D*ck (1), misspelled in a text message), The film also contains irreverent speech, such as: G*dd*mn (1)
