Although Warner Bros. has sequel options on Corenswet and Brosnahan, a sequel announcement does not appear to be imminent. Instead, sources say the studio is fast-tracking a “Wonder Woman” movie. And the studio is thrilled with Matt Reeves’ just-submitted screenplay draft for the sequel to “The Batman.”

Completely random but awesome additional effect from the movie:

Google searches for "adopt a dog near me" jumped 513% and "adopt a schnauzer" are up 299% after the opening weekend of Superman. Krypto appears to be a mix between a terrier mutt and a Schnauzer, according to the dog training app Woofz.

Variety has lost all credibility after their stunt to sabotage Superman

He limited buying the costume to black dads, which I found funny. But I get the world we live in, so I understand why he said it as well.
Ohhh I gotcha. On that note I just saw an ad with a black dad coming out of the movie with his son with their Superman shirts on, it was pretty cool
And I didn’t know Christopher Reeve’s son was in it

Sadly, people that should never be pet owners (much less dog owners) will impulsively adopt a dog to the ultimate detriment of both owner and pet.

I'm also happy to see that people are adopting dogs, and not running out to buy purebred Dalmatians or Jack Russell Terriers (as was the case with the success of 101 Dalmatians and Frasier.) We had a neighbor who bought a trendy Dalmatian for their kid, then ignored it to the point that they gave it to the people that bought their house.

I haven't read this and I probably would've been horrified at the drunk Supergirl snippet
DC pitch meeting: It's sorority Supergirl! DRUNK sorority supergirl! It'll be Animal House, but Supergirl will be the animal! It can't miss!

I just don't see Adria Arjona as Wonder Woman. I've said it before but her physicality and look is just wrong for the role. She's 5'7. You have to have an actress that is statuesque and has the right smile, acting talent, and charisma. Not to belittle her but I've seen moms from the mall that have more zing than Arjona. Hannah Waddingham and Rebecca Romijn could have done it 20 years ago. I still think the best candidate from the current known actresses is Elizabeth Debicki. Put 20 pounds of muscle on her and she has the look and the acting ability to pull it off as well as the stature. She's 6'3 and did an amazing job as Princess Diana in The Crown.

I'd like to see Stephanie Corneliussen or Ilfenesh Hadera play WW.

I’m not familiar with her but she’s beautiful as a brunette, don’t care for her as much when she’s blonde.
I also think she might be a bit too tall tbh
Apparently she was in Guardians II and Tenet

Well she has certainly got the look and the stature. She's beautiful and elegant. Haven't seen her act in anything. I'll have to correct that.
Wow.

I have a thing for Debicki but she’s too ethereal to play Wonder Woman imo

The frick? I could never imagine selling any dog or pet I've ever had w/my house. Even the biggest dickhead cats I've had would still have never been dumped like that.

Back on topic:
I'm glad that I was able to see Superman this week, because the spoilers on social media are now including videos of all of the cameos. It's a shame that these "companies" feel the need to fish for clicks by spoiling new films.

And they were 100% correct. Shitty people don't need pets. And shitty people are people who would give their pet away with the house.
