I just got out of seeing it, I would give it a 6.5/10. Krypto was the best part of the movie.

Saw it today, I'd give it a 6.5-7/10

Good:
- Superman himself brought back memories of Christopher Reeve, where he showed a human side.
- Krypto, I wasn't sure how I would feel about this, but I loved it
- Story, I actually enjoyed that they didn't make it an origin story
- The side characters were great. Previously, I didn't really care for Nathan Fillion's character, but I found him better than I expected

Bad:
- They made Clark's parents simple-minded people, or that way
- Does everyone know Clark is Superman?
- Luthor, I actually liked him until his ending monologue about being envious. Had his speech been about an alien coming to Earth and people worshipping him like a God without him admitting he was envious, it would have been better.
- I felt the guy who played Superman and the girl who played Lois had no chemistry.

Only Lois and The Justice Gang know his identity.

Envy is Luthor's motivation and it has always been obvious.

However, his entire speech admitting it has made him look weak. Although everyone knows he wants to be worshipped like a God, Luthor doesn't admit it.

Clark and Lois go on a date
Neither seems to act like it at work, but people know she is seeing someone
Perry and Jimmy know Superman and Lois are making out/hooking up

He's admitted it lots of times.

You answered your own question. They believe she's seeing someone. They see her leave with Superman and assume it's with him. Clark's glasses disguise his identity.

The best way to review this movie is the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly as it had all three.

Good
- Krypto
- Nicholas Hoult's acting
- some CGI
- Mr. Terrific
- Guy Gardner
- Metamorpho's turn to good while imprisoned

Bad
- Some of the humor was misplaced tonally due to either poor writing or editing.
- The weird country invasion storyline that way too much time was spent on. Also clearly made to look like American troops invading a poor middle eastern country.
- Too many new characters introduced to flesh them out properly.

Ugly
- Jonathan and Martha Kent being old and simple hillbillies.
- Superman's last speech when arresting Lex at the end. Just horrible writing, acting, and execution. Probably the worst scene of the movie until Krypto shows up and throws Lex around like a ragdoll.

Yeah, that's not what it clearly was.

Right, they were wearing US military-like fatigues, vehicles, and equipment setup, and it was supposed to be some random eastern bloc sounding country? Lol

So the rumors are actually true, James Gunn made Jor El into a freaking Earth conquering alien? frick James Gunn, and frick this movie. I’m out.

So damn tired of seeing these directors think they can retcon established lore just because it gets them aroused in their naughty bits.

This Lex is basically Joffrey from GoT. For better or worse. Not going to be everyone’s preferred Lex. I agree.

Its obvious that Gunn has a certain view of parents. These parents are regular people. Like a silly aunt you might have and a fat uncle. Theyre every day people. Annoying parents.

I really liked Lex until the ending speech, which I thought changed the character. The implication that he wants to be a God is known. He admitted that not only Superman but everyone who was there (I guess to make him look vulnerable) just made him weak. I would have loved a speech just stating this was to rid humanity of an alien that they worship, with him stating he isn't human and metahumans need to go.
