Can’t understand how they can keep making dumb Jurassic Park movies and people still eat it up. I will never understand it.

Superman has everything going for it. Great for all ages. Great word of mouth. I hope it has staying power. I’m going to see it again next Saturday, with 6 other people. Nobody in my family was interested but they are now.

+1 and they're bad movies, yet the GA continues to show up. Imagine if they actually put in some effort and made a truly great film. Box office would explode

2 films that killed it opening weekend because word of mouth let everyone know they aren't "woke." Hollywood should take note. General audiences are desperate for entertainment that doesn't shove politics or messaging in our faces.

Disagree. I think Superman is doing well in spite of a contrived concerted effort to paint it as "woke."

We’re going to see smaller budgets from now on

Ironically, that might be a good thing for the quality of the films

Make the filmmakers focus on the story and more intimate character driven scenes than CGI porn

I liked it. It was a fun, wholesome Superman movie which is what I have always preferred from the character. Was a tad bit shocked they had Lex shoot a dude in the head on screen though.

There has been no such effort. I would not have gone to see it if this was happening.

No, I saw what Sean Gunn said. I also saw conservative reviewers who made it very clear they had no idea what he was talking about.

I believe you will like it. If there is an immigration subplot at all, it makes an argument for exactly the sort of immigration conservatives want: come here, accept our values, assimilate to our culture, and try to contribute to society.

Yes, I saw people react to the comments from an actor and the director BEFORE THE MOVIE CAME OUT.

You keep missing the point that after people began to see the movie they were very clear that it is not woke.

ETA: For example, Nerdrotic didn't like the movie but the title of his video clearly states "not woke."

I hear you. I just think Fox News has bigger reach than Nerdrotic.

Gary is so full of shite. Him liking anything would actually be bad for business.
