Looks like James Gunn’s ‘Man of Tomorrow’ is set to begin filming in the spring. Gunn tells The Howard Stern Show that the film “starts shooting in April 2026.”

Gunn adds that ‘Man Of Tomorrow’ is a Lex Luthor and Superman movie: “It's a story about Lex Luthor and Superman having to work together to a certain degree against a much, much bigger threat.”

So I'm guessing Brainiac

That was the DCEU.. he’s said certain things from TSS are canon and some are not (doesn’t make a ton of sense to me but that’s his line).

Michael Rooker was in TSS also and he’s the eagle hunter now

They are making some leaps to involve Peacemaker. TSS would have been completely lost in the other universe if not for that. So it does make it kind of confusing. But Peacemaker is very successful and they’re determined to make it work. We’ll see. But hopefully it’s not confusing.

yeah, I love Peacemaker. I just thought TSS was canon in the new DCU with characters like Peacemaker, Flagg Jr, Waller, Economos, etc being canon.

Just watched Superman in HBO yesterday. I was not impressed. Really tired of directors giving away all the heroes secrets like the Fortress if Solitude and the Batcave. And everyone knowing there secret identity. Just lazy writing. Mr Terrific was cool but everything else pretty much sucked!

“I think Clemson Murn is canon,” Gunn said on the Season 1, Episode 5 rewatch episode of the Peacemaker podcast (via Polygon). “Maybe his face might not be canon if we want to cast [Chukwudi Iwuji] as something else in the DCU. But also, Chuk could end up being some other character, maybe that isn’t so humanoid.”
