Did you see the movie? She puked after she was poisoned.

Did you see it? She could’ve just taken the dog to a planet with a yellow sun.

On a random note, since Supergirl has been released, the various Superman movies have been showing. Of course, OG Superman with Christopher Reeve is still the best. Superman Returns isn’t good at all but the airplane scene is fantastic.

The first 45 minutes of MOS is spectacular. Once Zod shows up it goes to hell.

The new Superman gets worse on every rewatch. I’ve seen it a couple of times. Nicholas Hoult’s monologues are too over the top and the movie is just too campy.

Just hand the keys over to Reeves and see what he can do with the properties.

They live in a bubble. Say something that can be interpreted as attacking the fandom and that’s what you’re going to get

way, way, way too grounded. We don’t need another Nolan-like universe. He’s good in his street level Batman universe

Why rewatch if it’s that bad? Husband has seen it about 12 times. He loves it.

My only issue with MOS is Snyder goes a bit overboard with the CGI in the 3rd act. Aside from that, it's one of my favorite superhero films.

Basic story writing faux pas, not uncommon for those who don't have but 1 credit to their name before being named for a large project like this.

But even Wonderwoman 1984's Patty Jenkins 'forgot' that she basically wrote in the movie that Diana raped a guy while Steve Trevor was in his body.

Ooops.

She says she forgot but it’s ingrained in the girl boss trope just like this movie where she severely hurts people for no reason. Just like Captain Marvel who does the same as well as committing grand theft auto. Just like Iron Heart being a felon and outright evil. None of these characters are heroes, these types of people can’t write heroes.

I get the rationale for him killing Zod, as it is written

They shouldn't have written that, though

That is my major complaint
